think they are probably real although the stiching on the seams is a bit poor and don;t think they are worth all of the money, so am returning them, has anyone done this and had a full refund (minus shipping) or shall i just sell them on ebay?
Aren't you going to 'lose' money returning them though? With all the shipping costs etc.
I would be inclined to put them on Ebay, or sell them to a friend/relative.. you might make a small loss, but not as much if you were to send them back??0 -
Nice one shaileytuff. I haven't had any dispatch notifications so I may be able to cancel before dispatch if make a decision on the pics. This will probably go for quite a few people in the same position. Thanks again and here's hoping for all that have gone for the boots that they are legitimate Decker ones (made in Australia, China or wherever).0

Okay, so I just received the 3 pairs I ordered from Aussidirect, tall classics in chocolate, chestnut and black.
The chocolate pair HAS got a 'made in china' label in.
The other 2 haven't and have got 'made in australia' on a cheaper looking label.
They all however look identical apart from the different colour badge backgrounds.
The box they come in also different however (choc in one style, the other 2 in another).
To me this would suggest what someone else said about them being authentic but the ones for sale in Oz are MADE in Oz bar the chocolate colour which is a new colourway.
I think I will email Ugg Australia anyway with a few pictures and get them to clarify it. The black and chestnut are for a fervent Ugg wearer and she'll get a bit suss by the different box and manufacture origin.
Also shaileytuff - the chestnut ones I have here do seem to have poor stitching - as though the inner lining is coming through. The other 2 pairs are fine however.0 -
those pics look authentic to me0

Me too. I do see what people are saying about the stitching though, it doesnt seem as close as the stitching in the uGgs sold over here. Not necessarily a sign of fakeness though, maybe thats the way theyre made in Aus?0 -
Has anyone considered that maybe aussie direct could be selling genuine seconds? Hence the stitching not being perfect?:A
