Also shaileytuff - the chestnut ones I have here do seem to have poor stitching - as though the inner lining is coming through. The other 2 pairs are fine however.

yeahh mine are exactly like that..with the stitiching..so not impressed!

Has anyone considered that maybe aussie direct could be selling genuine seconds? Hence the stitching not being perfect?

The pics were helpful shaileytuff. I think that I'm back on track with being happier with the purchase. The comments from Paphos Gooner were helpful too even though it looks like he supports a certain footie team...

It looks like the Black and Chestnut ones originate from a different manufacturing country but look to be the real deal. For the great saving, i'd accept if they are of a 'very slightly' lower quality finish (how bad is the stitching??). I think those that have opted for the Chocolate colour are going to be even more secure and happy as it looks like they'll get the same Chinese ones that are sold in the UK shops.

I think if they are seconds then the company should have made that clear so the customer can make their decision based on the facts.

They tried to deliver mine today but I wasn't in so they are coming tomorrow. I've ordered the tall chestnut but I wish I had ordered the chocolate now!!

I have just recieved long chestnut uggs from australia direct and am not 100% happy with them.. they look a bit fake to me, plus they seem to be a bit small, even thought i tried them on in the UK and they fitted perfectly! so am thinking they may be fake?
dont know what to do as dont really want to have to spend 170 pounds on them from the UK, but am thinking it may be easier to do so! sooo annoyed, thought i was getting a better deal buying them online :(

Oh dear sounds like I may feel the same tomorrow. Does anyone know how much it will cost us to send them back to Australia?
