I wore my Cardy’s for the first time yesterday bare legged…
I spent the whole day scratching!!!!
I can’t be sure it was the Uggs, but what else could it be?
Is anyone else itching from their Cardy’s?
I normally wear them with tights or over jeans so haven't noticed before.
Do you think I'm allergic to my Uggs?????
  • Hi Mookie,

If she's happy with them then it doesnt matter. She's saved money on the prices of places that do actually have them right now. :D

Yes you will get a nasty rash and you will have to donate them to me. ;)

I'm officially banned from buying anymore Uggs till winter comes again. :rotfl:

Well I got my response from Paypal concerning my dispute with www.uggfootwear-direct.com Looks like everyone is getting the same answer from the robots that work at Paypal. Basically Paypal decided the claim in my favour but were “unable to retrieve any funds” this seems to be because the seller has emptied his account... As far as I know the website is still up and and many people each day must be buying from them, does that mean Paypal allow this con man to log in, transfer his money to his bank account then withdraw it all every day? At the moment the message im getting is that if you want to get rich quick, just set up a website with Palpal, take the money and don’t send anything because nobody will stop you...

Paypal end by kindly reminding us that they actually do not guarantee to refund you of anything you buy with Paypal! This is a very different idea to what everyone I know thinks about Paypal... What is most annoying in the ‘we couldn’t retrieve any funds’ response? Well the fact that Paypal make millions and cant compensate anyone.

Im really confused in how Paypal with all these complaints has not suspended the uses account, why are they supporting a criminal? Oh yes I forgot they get their percentage of all funds sent to him! Anyone else in the same position and what should we do next?
I too logged a claim and even though paypal found in my favour I have still not received a full refund. I totally agree with everything you say about paypal and this (what appears to be) fraudulent company.

Even though the dispute appears closed in paypal I am told they keep it open in case the company tries to trade again. Having spoken to customer services they say a company cannot set up again whilst it owes money. To me the evidence is clear in that this website continues to trade and Paypal allows different accounts to received the money. I have noted different seller’s account names, which have included 88uggs, 55uggs, 99uggs and latest was mainuggs@xrenmail, all of which get suspended sortly after being set up.

I email Paypal with the sellers name every time I have evidence that Paypal will process a transaction created via the main.uggs website. On the basis that the dispute stays open I have advised Paypal that until I get all my money I will continue to update them everytime I see a new seller's name linked to that website.

I suggest everyone in a similar position remains vigilant to the activites of the website and advise Paypal of the sellers details as displayed when you test the buying process (don’t fully process it - just get as far as your Paypal log in).

I've always worn mine with tights too, I'll try them bare legged and let you know! x
  • I have found this website that tells you who owns the website domain name. I typed it in for main.uggs.com. If you go on: http://whois.domaintools.com/mainuggs.com it tells you some details. I am not that wise on computers so don't know if the information is useful. Could this be something of use to show pay pal or not? Any suggestions would be great.
  • Well im glad to say that I check the website and it is no longer up! www.uggfootwear-direct.com Just wish they had been quicker at it....

  • Well I ordered a pair from http://www.cloggs.co.uk this morning, showing as in-stock, then noticed my order updated to backlog as they haven't got any instock.

Still showing as instock on the site.

So I've now got the missus excited about getting her ugg boots, only to have to dissappoint her again :(

I followed this up by ordering from http://www.uggsdirect.co.uk yesterday as they had the correct size. Paid £7.95 for next day delivery, this was yesterday by the way.

    EDIT:
Has anyone got a telephone number which they answer? As the two that I've got just ring out to the answerphone, or currently it states "no attendant available". Not impressed.

Nothing has arrived as yet, they use Royal Mail, so I would have thought it would have arrived by now???

How has anyone else gone on with delivery from http://www.uggsdirect.co.uk ?
