Just want to say I love my black Cardys, I'd recommend them to anyone, and they do look great no matter how you wear them :D

Hi, where did u get em and what's the sizing like - is it the same as standard uggs?

    Thanks - Etyx
  • Just back from NYC and Philadelphia. I had a shopping list of Uggs to buy for friends but most places are sold out. Everyone is wearing Uggs over there. I did manage to find some cardys though - in black and grey. They are the same fit as classic Uggs - I am 6.5 and buy a US 8 and they fit me fine.

I took my classic tall chocolate ones and despite temperatures of 5 below my feet were toasty warm!:j

I went in the Ugg store which only had US10 and above in of boots but I found a pair of flip flops with sheepskin lining. They were only $30 so I thought it would have been rude not to get them! They are part of the new collection.:D

Emus are great and you can sometimes get them in TK Max at a snip. I paid 29.99 for long black. I think I bought them too big though, I am a uk6 and bought a us 7 and they were ok at first but got bigger so ended up giving them to my daughter who's a size bigger, and buying some bear paws from TK Max for 24.99 (short) in a uk 7 which are a bit too small!!! Both excellent quality sheepskin and loads of people have thought they're uggs.

I'm assuming these are big fat fakes, haven't seen this site before TBH.

Hi, no they are not fakes they are just an alternative brand to the uGg Australia boots. You can find good quality Ugg boots from other manufacturers at lower prices than the Ugg Australia brand (the most popular brand in designer stores) Be careful when buying the brand with the big G as there are a lot of counterfeit copies, which is what this thread refers to as fakes they will be rubbish quality and cost as or nearly as much as the real thing.

    HTH :D
  • Can anyone tell me the height of the tall and short UGGS? Thanks in advance...
  • Harting no longer sell to the UK anymore and rei do not have UGG's on their website anymore, any other website's that sell real ugg's for a reasonable price?

Are they made in china or Oz?

If a company suggests going a size down for a snug fit on these boots then the toes should be supportive enough of the wearers feet so their toes dont pop through! I think you should contact Ugg Australia yourself before deciding to pay for the return, tell them you are not happy having paid such a high price for a pair of their branded boots and that if the boots were a couple of years old and been worn out you would accept wear and tear as a valid reason, but as the boots are gently worn you do not feel the decision made by Aussiedirect is justified. Also mention the reviews easily found on google about customer service after purchase from Aussiedirect. As a retailer of their brand their service standards should be that of Ugg Australia. I am pretty confident in assuming your boots havent been checked by a member of the Ugg Australia team, I worked in a well known sports shop years ago, if the company decision was not accepted by the customer then the footwear was sent to the manufacturer for them to decide. Aussiedirect should offer to do this at their cost, they do not manufacture the boots and are not trained in every possible defect that could arise.

    Good luck. ;)
they are the chocolate china's, will wait to see what credit card disputes have to say and then will take it from there, thanks mookie :)
  • Any other website's that are in use? Hartings have just stopped sending ugg's internationally and rei do not have any on their webpage?
  • Hi all - I don't know how the following will work out with customs charges etc but I have found a website in the US which stocks what look like genuine Uggs - www.nordstrom.com. I looked for some chestnut classics I want and its coming up as $119.99 + $5 shipping to the US with an estimated delivery of 4 weeks. I contacted them via their live chat facility and the very helpful lady there said I can have them shipped to the UK but she wasn't sure of the delivery charges, and I would have to ring them to order. Even with shipping and customs added, with a starting price of around £60 I reckon this is worth looking into. I'm a lucky lady though, I have a friend who lives in the US who I am visiting in 3 weeks so I will have mine delivered there. :rotfl:

I think you'll find they're DEFINATELY genuine if they're from Nordstrom!!!!!!!! Lucky you.
