Hi there,We too have fallen for this scam with uggboots direct. We ordered uggs on Jan 24th and PayPal forwarded our payment. Having read this forum they must have had an idea of problems. We have had no order confirmation and no uggs despite e-mailing this fraudulent company. We are now awaiting a response from Paypal. We are in our 50s and ordered the uggs for our daughter. Any age can be conned. What can you do if you know the name of the guy? Most frustrating.0

Hi Brunlea,
Do you mean www.uggfootweardirect.co.uk?
Just done search on them and it looks like they aren't trading (if that's what you call it, I personally call it stealing!!) under that name anymore.
I got my cardy uggs from www.uggsdirect.co.uk
Ordered them on sunday afternoon and they came this morning. They are lovely.
Just have to sell a couple of handbags now on ebay to finance my new addiction. :rotfl:0 -
Still nothing from uggsdirect.co.uk I would not recommend anyone to buy from this company. Buy at your peril that is all I can say.0

I have just received my Ugg Boots from Uggsdirect.co.uk, and their lovely, no problems with this company, pre-ordered my boots 5 weeks ago and have contacted the company twice, found it a little difficult to get in touch but after perservering and getting a constant engaged tone or the answerphone i kept trying, and eventually managed to speak to someone, it did on one occasion take me over an hour at one point. So my advice is keep trying and eventually you will get through and speak to someone. My ugg boots were well worth the wait and i would shop with this company again.0

I also got my cardy uggs from www.uggsdirect.co.uk and found no problem with them, although I thankfully didn't have to return them which is where the problem seems to be.0

hi i've been monitoring this thread for a while now and i thought you'd like to know that TKMaxx has ugg style boots called bear paw. they have a website where you can check out the boots. i paid £35 for them they are sheepskin inside and suede outside. they had them in hull and scarbourough. they only had 2 pairs of size 6(black) in scarborough i bought 1 pair, but they had quite a few size 3 in hull and scarborough. hull only had size 3's in.0

Well, I'm a size 5 and I got the 4s as with normal uggs and they're fine so you should have no problems
I'm really frustrated with Fed Ex right now! I sent payment for customs at the beginning of January and I've just had a formal demand notice from a debt collection agency for the amount, even though the cheque cleared weeks ago! Grrrrrr
Becky
So did my hubby.
Have you called them, I think he has to call them to confirm its been paid or they'll keep sending letters!0 -
Boaught 2 x pairs directly from the Ugg Australian website australianuggboots.co.au both pairs arrived ok (had to pay £50 custom fees) and after 3 days wear they started to fall apart araound the seem at the heel. Am in touch with their aftersale deparment and will let you know what is what. Although they were supposedly "Made in Australia" i feel very unhappy about this purchase.0

I have also bought a pair of boots off this site and didn't find out about the problems until after I'd paid! I cant believe how many people have been duped by this site and how easily the people who are running this scam are getting away with it! I would never have thought that people would be able to get away with just setting up a website claiming to be selling an item and just take people's money for nothing! I bought my (soon to find out they were fictional!) boots on the 5th Feb and filed a complaint/claim with paypal as soon as I read the reports on this site and ripoffreport.com and also contacted my credit card company straight away. I have yet to hear from paypal but my credit card company that they will refund the money if paypal don't! All I can say is thank god I paid with my credit card as I have read reports of people who paid with debit cards and haven't been able to get any money back at all as the money has been cleared out of the company's paypal account and obviously they don't have the insurance credit cards offer! I wanted to post this message to try and make more people aware of this fraudulent site and to try and stop this from happening to somebody else! These reports weren't coming up in google searches when I bought the phantom boots but if enough people post complaints then hopefully it will!
DON'T BUY UGGS FROM UGGFOOTWEAR-DIRECT
OR MAINUGGS.COM!!
