Sponge them again but the whole of that area, up to where each joining section starts. Let them dry naturally and when dry brush them gently with an old toothbrush or soft clothes brush. Dont forget to spray again once you are happy with them. HTH

I followed your advise and they now look perfect. Just given them another spray of protector. DH did look at my funny when he came in and I was sat brushing them with my old toothbrush!! He thinks I love my UGG's way too much.
  • arghhhhhh!

Just had an email from Hartings saying they are unable to fulfill my order due to lack of stock!

Can anyone recommend any other website?

Thanks for that Mookie. I knew you or Blue Monkey (the UGG Boot experts) would be along to help me! I'll have another go in the morning!

    :T

Ha ha, i came on to ask the same thing, I sprayed mine and wore them in the rain but they are watermarked, I'll sponge them down then. I've had a few personal troubles so I have not even got around to sorting my sheepskin liners yet for my black ones so I am wearing the ones with superglue on - looking a right !!!!! I bet, LOL!! At least I did not ruin the new ones - I did have brown toes where they had got wet though, I did not expect that. I use the Clarks protector spray and it is suppoed to repel water.... right, that would be the odd raindrop then as it did not repel the water at all. What does everyone else use??

Oh and cloggs still did not refund me for my damaged boots, or send them back and it has been 3 months now. What is that all about??
  • I have just got my new chocolate tall uggs (authentic australia) but I'm really suprised how big they are around the heels and ankles. Is it me or are they being made bigger? I have them in chestnut which are 2 yrs old and they fit fine and I also have a short black pair and their fine aswell but these ones definately seems wider around the heels and ankles iv'e compared the soles on them and they are all exactly the same.
Would putting a pair of sheepskin insoles in them work??

YEY!! My uggs arrived - they are 100% genuine and beautiful. Sooo happy - although they are abit tight on the big toe - hopefully they should give a little with wear right?

ps i'm interested as to how people know that their uggs are fake - mine look genuine, with box/care card etc but how can you be sure?

Mine look great now. They were fine in rain but i got a dirty mark on them and just scrubbed that area. I have now followed mookies instructions and they look great.

I used a protector spray from Office. It was only about £3.99 and has been great. I've now resprayed them. They have in the past got quite wet and not marked. I sprayed them about 3 times though.

Read your other thread and hope things get sorted for you soon. xxx

has anyone else ordered from Ugg Australia? how long did it take to receive your boots?

I ordered on 3rd January and was told i would receive an email when they have been shipped. so far no email and order status is "open", then when i look at the order details it says status "at warehouse" and tracking "shipping soon" which it has said now for the last 10 days.

so i'm presuming that they don't actually have the boots in stock. would have been nice to have been notified of this. think i will have to phone them tomorrow to find out what is going on/when i am likely to get them.

Did you ring them? Did they give you any idea of when you might get them?
