I bought my uggs 22nd Dec from this seller
http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/ljsmith361
and they're still not here
They're showing as dispatched from chicago on 23rd by the united states postal service - priority dispatch. Any ideas as to when I should expect them?
Mine took about 10 days to arrive in the UK from this seller, I would imagine the holidays have caused some delays with them. You can use the tracking number with parcel force when it says they are in the UK as that's who will deal with them when they get here:)

Hi,
I recently purchased some Ugg boots from a website called uggfootwear-direct.com, has anyone heard of or used this website before?
Im growing increasingly concerned as I placed my order on 27th December without really thinking, I do alot of shopping online and have never been scammed so I guess im quite trusting! However, since placing my order I still have had no response from the sellers to confirm receipt of my order nor to advise when I can expect to receive my boots but my payment has been taken already for £109 via paypal.
Am I over reacting and perhaps should give the benefit of the doubt since it has been christmas and new year but I would have expected some kind of a response by now. Plus I have sent 2 emails chasing my order but had no response although the emails are being delivered.
Having looked into the website further there are no contact telephone numbers or an address which is worrying me!
Can anyone help??
Thanks0 -
Hello,
I don't know if anyone has suggested this before, but maybe at the start of this thread they could compile a list of sites that are good and a list of sites to avoid. I know that it might be a bit of a hassle to do, but I think that now this thread has turned into a monster of 100+ pages that it might help people so that they don't have to re-post questions about sites they have found and don't know if are good or bad, but may have already been answered previously, which hopefully will help stop anyone getting scammed
Or does that sound like a bad idea?
P.s. I know there are a couple listed at the start but I think that there have been alot more good ones found since then (and a few bad ones too)0 -
Lottie, its strange you should ask the question.. I looked at this website on xmas day and was rather confused as to why this seller had UGGS in stock and everywhere else was sold out. I emailed them this:
Please may I have the name and address of your company.. I am hoping to buy a few pairs of UGG boots but I need to know a little more about the seller as no address appears on your website.
Hope to hear from you soon.
I sent this on 24/12 and have heard nothing the website does not appear to be valid either now. You paid by Paypal so you should be covered.. Give it 2 weeks in total and then file a dispute.0 -

Unfortunately it does sound very dodgy, a lot of those websites popped up around Christmas and then disappeared all of a sudden. There was someone else who said they were going to buy from them, a guy called Steven, his post is on page 124. Maybe you could contact him and find out if he received his?
If not, at least you paid by PayPal and you should be fine getting your money back.

Thanks so much for your replies, your right it does seem dodgy and its my own fault cos I obviously didn't do enough research, I hadnt even realised everywhere online was sold out. I looked at that website and one other I think who both had them in stock.
Very concerned now and my husband isnt going to be happy as he paid for them for my christmas present!
Thanks again guys will keep you posted.

Lotte, I'm in the same boat! I bought some boots from that site a couple of days ago (after a fair bit of research). I was a bit surprised by the e-mail address that came up for the PayPal account but assumed PayPal would cover me if it turned out to be a fraudulent seller. Haven't heard from them yet so I might try and start chasing this directly and through PayPal. Here's hoping they've just been overwhelmed with orders...0 -
Hi,
I have just read the WHOLE thread today. Do I get a certificate or something. Phew?! People had a laugh and a good rapport so that was nice but I want so genuine uGg's and some slippers so on with the info. I can take a US mens 9 or ladies 10; I'm a UK 8 or 9 and I thought on the off chance there are other people looking out there here is a summary of most places status, posting costs etc... If it helps one person I'm glad if not sorry it is rather large...Green and minimal chemicals is the new black- I know a fair old bit about sustainability, specially energy and transport stuff. If I can help- please ask!0 -

Hiya Becky, yes it was me who posted about them http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.html?p=7309243&postcount=2472.
However, as I received no good feedback about them, I decided not to buy them for the missus. I'd been everywhere in Manchester and on loads of internet sites to see that a size 5 in the short uggs were out of stock till mid January / February. So decided best to wait instead.
Also mentioned to Lotte via PM, that it would no doubt be best for her to file a dispute with Paypal.
Awful though that someone has obviously set up this scam website in time for Christmas to scam possible a very lot of people.
I also agree that the very first post on this thread should have a list containing good and bad suppliers or genuine ugg boots. As to try and read through this full thread takes some going0 -
I have started another thread for Ugg Australia branded boots as so many people are asking, please have a read and add to it if anyone thinks I've missed anything. It might help people who havent got time to read all this thread.
