Anyone know how to revive dry Uggs? Mine got covered in mud, it dried quite a bit. I've sponged them down but they're a bit dry now, any top tips?

    Thanks, Becky x x x
  • If you have paid via PayPal you need to log onto their web site and fill in a dispute form in the resolution centre. I did it this morning and got an automated response saying they would investigate. uggfootwear-direct were unable to respond to PayPal to try to resolve the issue. I have typed uggfootwear-direct into google today and the web site is still on the listings, fourth or fifth down I think. They also have new stock on there. I don't know what to think, they may be busy, have a problem with their email...My gut feeling is bad though!! Will keep all posted on my situation.

Have you got a old soft toothbrush? They come up lovely if you brush them gently. ;)

Hi to all fellow Ugg Fanatics,

You wouldn’t believe me if I told you I’d started reading this before Christmas! It has been the most interesting read I’ve had in a long time…
    Some most excellent advise! :A

Dec 06 - I bought my first Decker Uggs (Chestnut Tall) in New York for $175 with sales tax etc… I wore them every single day! :j

March 07 - I then made another trip back to the States where I bought the Decker Uggs in Gold with Ugg written all over them… I’m not sure what the official name is for those as I couldn’t get another pair of Chestnut Tall. Sold out everywhere… I also bought flip flops in chestnut from Las Vegas while I was there!

May 07 - Replaced Decker Uggs with Australian Uggs which I bought from an Australian website. They are actually Snug Uggs (Chestnut Tall) and I think they cost £85 by the time tax and duty and Royal Mail charges had been paid. The sizing is a little different though and there were quite big on me compared to the Decker Uggs. :o

Dec 07 - I then bought a pair of Bearpaw (Chestnut mini) Uggs for £29.99 in TK Maxx. My first ever trip there. I also got a pair for my mother for Christmas. Not bad, but they’ll do for my trips to the park.

Jan 08 - I have now moved on a bought myself a pair of Emu’s (Chestnut Tall) from Russell and Bromley for £115!!! I know, I didn’t research! I just wanted a new pair and thought that compared to the £170 for Uggs, it was a good price…

Jan 08 - I have now ordered the mother in law a pair of Emu’s from Amazon (Black Tall) for £60!!!

Daylight robbery in Russell and Bromley. And the spray to protect them was £7-£8.
I hadn’t sprayed any of my other Uggs and they have been fine.

As I have experienced ‘Uggs’ in all brands, my Decker Uggs have been the hardest wearing and the most comfortable… closely followed by my Australian Uggs.

I will wear my Emu’s (which are very good, but would have been better if I hadn’t bought them at Russell and Bromley) until the spring where I will then get myself another pair of Decker Uggs to see me though the summer.

I wear Uggs with and without socks.
    I wear them in – 5 degrees.
I wear them in 39 degrees ( at the beach and by the pool )
They are warm and cool depending on the climate.
I do get very strange looks when I’m in a hot country… I suppose it is strange to see a bikini clad girl walking in sheepskin boots!

Anyway, that’s my two pence worth… I will post any good buys as and when I spot them.
