Has anyone actually got boots from Hartings and are they genuine as claimed on their website?
Also how do I find the supplier Wang919? I've searched on ebay but cannot find them.
thanks

Hartings are definitely genuine, you don't need to worry about them.
For Wang, on the ebay homepage, go to Community in the top right, enter Wang919 in member search and there they are! Hope this helps, or, this link may work, not sure though

I've recently moved from Australia to the UK so before leaving I went in search of some warm uggs for winter.
One thing to remember is that we Aussies refer to any genuine sheepskin boot in the 'ugg style' as ugg boots - they don't need any particular labels, logos or trademarks for us to consider them genuine uggs.
That been said, they DO need to be genuine sheepskin otherwise they're not the real deal.
After searching through many stores, I eventually bought some from the Ugg Boot Lady - www.uggbootlady.com.au . It's a good idea to check your size on the chart included on the website, or email them before you order to check your size, as the ugg sizing can be a little different to regular sizes. They also have some handy sheepskin boot insoles for around £6.
For those people who have had problems with getting their lovely new uggs marked and stained, it's worth spraying them a few times with water protector when you get them. Uggs can also be shampooed if you get them dirty, but whatever you do DON'T dry them by a heater or fire as this will dry them out.
Happy ugg hunting!0 -
Hi Dolly67 exactly the same thing happened to us - the boots were meant to come from Northampton and came from China instead. They were obviously fakes - cheap teddy bear fabric linings etc.etc. Anyway, we went the Paypal route as we did not think the boots would be delivered at all and set up the claim on that basis. The seller then came up with a tracking no. and about 5 days later the fake boots turned up. We then got back to Paypal and told them the boots were fake. We got an email from them asking us to get written proof from an expert that they were fake. This email turned up at 9.30 in the morning and the proof had to be with them by 5.30 the same day or else they would find in the seller's favour! There was nothing I could do at such short notice so emailed back, saying that the seller had misrepresented himself and the boots and had been deregistered from ebay so felt their ruling and deadline very unfair. Had an email from Paypal the following morning and they had found in our favour! So, if the fake boots bit does not work, go for misrepresentation!
A couple of days later I got an email from the seller in China asking us to return the boots as we had had the money back.........!!!!!!!
Hope this helps.0 -
I finally received my 3rd pair of tall choc uggs this morning (1st 2 were fake from ebay, long story!) I ordered size 4 uk as my old chestnut talls were this size and were perfect only these are too big.
Is it me or are they made differently my chestnuts are about 3 yrs old now and still in good condition, i'm really fussy about the weather etc when I wear them, but the new ones, definately genuine seem much bigger especially around the ankles and heels.
I'm not sure wether to sell them and get a smaller size though because I have quite large calfs and the 4's fit my calfs and i'm a bit worried they might come up smaller on the legs in the 3's.
Also, although genuine they are def not made as well as the old ones probably due to the fact that 3 yrs ago they weren't as popular and could take a bit more care but now they are churning out loads to cope with the demand.
I'm not sure what to do, I could keep them and wear socks (defeats the object of sheepskin) or get a smaller size but risk the legs being too small.

Hi MrsMum99
Thats exactly what happened to me, 1st claim was for goods not received but was changed to fake etc after the seller sent a tracking number I couldn't believe it when they came. They were disgusting!! I still have them but i'm not sending them back to china unless they pay the postage, i'm not that far with the claim yet though so we'll see!! Glad you got your money back. Did you send them back to china? did they pay the postage?0 -
The stain definitely hasn't gone, and is almost as bad as it was to start with.
So my next question is where can I get uggs in the UK? tall chocolate in size 5 or 6 and preferably online.
Mine are us8/uk6 but are a little big, so a size 5 should also be fine and may actually fit better.
So far I can only find them at ASOS.com in size 5 for £170. None on Amazon, Schuh, Soletrader or Office websites in size 5 or 6 as far as I can see.
I ordered them in size 5 from ASOS but just had an email to say my order has been cancelled due to them being out of stock.
Does anyone know anywhere I can get size 5 or 6 tall chocolate Uggs? UK preferably but anywhere will do!0 -

Only place that has them I have seen them which says in stock is Ugg Australia's own site not sure on the postage I think you can only see it after you enter all your info but if its a lot then ring the manager and check he is willing to cover the total bill as thats the only place that has them.

My friend got these Uggs from the buyer below on Ebay. The label inside the boot has a square round the size.
I emailed the seller before vhristmas to ask if these boots she was selling are original decker Uggs and her reply was "YES".
Do not buy from this seller is my instinct
