Hi Guys,
I've had some good news about my UGG boots from Australia Direct from Jenny at MSE.....
Hi
Apologies for the delay in replying -
We have now had confirmation from Ugg that your boots are in fact genuine (please see below).
Would you like me to pass on your details so Deckers can forward the boots directly on to you?
Thanks so much for all your help with this!

Me too, I bought the classic tall blacks from AD and had niggling doubts about their authenticity so I'm very pleased to find out they are actually genuine :j
ETA: Now I know my UGG's are genuine I feel I should say that the boots I've bought from Kiwi-Sheepskins and the Canterbury boots from Hartings are far superior in quality, as well as being much cheaper, so for those of you looking for quality sheepskin boots that don't care about the label (and let's face it, the celebs are all wearing UGG type boots from various different companies these days so UGG Australia is no longer THE BRAND TO BE SEEN WEARING anymore) so go out and buy whatever is cheap and comfortable
PS Did I mention I'm thinking of emigrating to NZ so I think I might set up an export company to the UK to supply you all with your UGG boots :rotfl:“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -

Thats good news for all the buyers, i am really shocked that a company has boots made in australia that are different in so many ways to the stock they supply from china. At least it saves feeling like we got ripped off!0 -
Hi
Probably an obvious question, but can anyone confirm that uggaustralia.com is the genuine site? It certainly looks it, but I did get a certificate warning which made me wary as theres so many dodgy sites springing up at the moment!
Just want to check before I part with my cash!0 -

Yep, they are a genuine UK outlet for UGG Australia boots but be prepared to pay premium UK high street prices for them. Having said that, if they have the size/style you're looking for then grab it as most UGG's are like gold-dust in the UK right now“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -

That's great news, however my four pairs from Australia Direct have been confirmed by Ugg as being fake. AD have therefore certainly been sending out fakes (probably due to increased demand) and I bought these fairly early on (September). If anyone has any doubt I suggest they speak to Ugg Australia's uk customer support team on the number provided on their website (uggaustralia.com) and possibly then email pictures to them for confirmation. As stated previously I now have a 30 to 90 day wait for a credit card reclaim and no boots. Buyer beware!0 -
my short black uggs from ad are definetely fakes. i bought another pair from cloggs.co.uk and when you stand them side by side the difference is clear. also the ad ones have a much softer heel and have started to sag. i have ordered 2 pairs from wang 919, has anyone received boots from wang yet? are they def genuine?member number 240 in da norn irn club
