Sorry for taking so long to get back to you but having delved a bit deeper I'm afraid I have to agree with Blue_Monkey that this guy could well be dodgy. He isn't the one I thought I'd bookmarked from a few months ago, although his photos do look very similar, but the other guy had been trading longer than 3 mths ... I wonder!
He's claiming the cheaper boots are seconds or B grade, but Deckers don't sell B grade boots as far as I'm aware so this sounds like a cover for inferior fakes
I think this close to xmas I wouldn't risk it buying from any UK Ebayers, unless it is very obvious that they are just selling an odd pair that they've bought in error or something.“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -
I think how stupid, surely people know to have this many - 53 left, surely aren't the genuine item.

And check out the picture of the label!! It seems that even that way of checking is no longer the best way!!0 -

Blue monkey you make me giggle....people need to be told about these sellers. I agree with you 100%
The good old cover up the bottom of the label pic
They have managed to fake china labels now which really is concerning but the other close up details still show fakes. Another thing is chestnut boots have brown stitching on the logo....not chestnut like some on ebay.
I noticed one genuine seller nancysuehk or something similar has bumped her prices right up! People are not going to give them away when they are the only people with them available. I have a pair of tall chestnuts that I think will be too small for my sis in law and i think I will be ebaying them, by the time I get round to it next week I reckon they'll be gold dust!0 -
Thank you all so very much for your help, it is much appreciated.
I took your advice on board and didnt buy them.
i see that you have been commenting on Wang919 has both the pairs I am after and it says that if i order and pay by the 14th then he guarantees christmas shipping.
Do you all still feel that he is "the real deal" lol.
Cheers0 -

I havent bought from that seller as the sizes werent available but people have been pleased with the boots from wang I think if ebay is where you intend to get them I would stick with this seller, but be quick or they might be gone!0 -
Yes, I recommended Wang a few days back - I bet he has been busy, LOL!! I should ask him for commission....... I think these look the real deal. That nancysuehuk has 2 shops, one 'in' the US and one 'in' the UK and she has now listed all her boots in the UK shops and ramped the price right up. I don't mind paying UK prices as retailers have to pay VAT and duties on their imports in volume but what 'irritates' me is when someone from the US doubles their prices like that to UK price and it all goes 'in the pocket'. If it was me I would put them on auction and if they sell for UK price it's a bonus. But to put them on BIN for £150 when they probably cost you $60 to buy is holding your hand out and asking for it and to me it is just downright greedy and I try to avoid sellers like that. Wang could have done the same but hasn't and so he will get the benefit of the sales while NancySue is left with a load of surplus stock. As I said, maybe it's just me but it really irritates me somewhat. Also, to call yourself xxxxUK kind of implies you are in the UK but she isn't so why put that in your user name?? And then you also have the US cost shipping prices on top and then imagine getting stuck for duties on those prices if HMRC decide to charge you!! Ouch!! Anyway, just my rant for the day, LOL.
Mookie, you laughing at me!! It's all your fault I have spent (more than likely weeks rather than days!) scrutinishing every flipping boot on the entire planet. So, it is all your fault, LOL. However, my feet have been so warm over the last week of freezing mornings, I was walking home from the school run a few days back and was thinking - I really need more of this stuff to keep me warm and then I figured I'd be dressed up like a sheep!! I do walk a lot so I am really finding them a benefit so I am glad I 'took the plunge' and followed you all like a sheep to buy them..... baa...... LOL!!0 -
I just thought I would list a few things to look out for when buying UGG Australia boots, the name is sadly not enough to ensure you are buying Genuine boots.
If anyone has any other points please add them.
Do not buy from anyone who is covering the bottom part of the inside label....it will say new zealand or australia under that finger!!
The soles little R's in circles should be offset with a gap between them, the tread on the soles should be thick and chunky looking.
The Ugg label should be set halfway up that back section on the short boots, if there is a big amount of the section above the label they may be fake as the fakes are made he same regardless of height. (the talls have a slightly bigger gap above the logo) Also the heels shouldnt be narrow looking from the back of the boot.
The inside wool should be fairly thick looking and not fluffy soft looking.
The toes from the side shouldnt be sloped genuine boots have more of a curvey chunky appearance.
If anyone is not sure list a link here and I'm sure one of the beady eyes here can help.
mookie, if they dont have the little R's in the sole they are fakes ?0 -

If they dont have them at all the sadly yes they are the early fakes, some of the more recent fakes have the circle r's and now they even have 'made in china' labels the labels typing is very slightly different. The sad thing is unless you have a pair to compare side by side you really would find it hard to tell.
I can PM you some pics if you want to show you as I have gathered a few together when I was going to do an ebay review but there are so many now and they all say different things theres not much point.
I am a real picky person and I notice things that others wouldnt worry about its an annoying habit but it can be helpful with stuff like this.0 -
