Have emailed to cancel order but already been shipped
Recieved an email stating mine were not australia made and I will be happy?
Guess theres nothing I can do but wait to see? Do we now know if their boots are all real?
    Wish I'd ordered from Hartings!
  • my short black uggs from ad are definetely fakes. i bought another pair from cloggs.co.uk and when you stand them side by side the difference is clear. also the ad ones have a much softer heel and have started to sag. i have ordered 2 pairs from wang 919, has anyone received boots from wang yet? are they def genuine?

Hi, I got mine from Wang and I'm certain they are genuine. I've read this site on a daily basis and everything about them seems to be genuine!!!!!

They've also got really good feedback and seem to have been selling them for a long time!!! I love mine!!!

Ive bought 2 pairs from wang. One pair of tall in sand and one pair short chestnut!

As far as i can tell they are the real deal. A friend works in selfridges shoe dept has taken them to work to check them out and against others and the manager there says "They are the real thing"

So im happy. Liek wang says in the advert you dont get charged for import duties either! My 2 pairs in total were around £190
    Debt at lightbulb moment £9500
    Credit Card NOTHING! :T :T
    ALL DEBTS PAID OFF
Proud to be dealing with my Debt! :D
  • After much consideration i decided not to buy from ebay, just on the off chance that i ended up buying fakes. Its a lot of money to just "waste". Now my real dilemma is where on earth can i find these boots at such a short time before christmas. Is cloggs the only place that have them in stock??

Thanks again guys, you have been really helpful!! :)

You will be lucky getting any in the shops now. I only ordered from Wang as i'd searched everywhere for some. What size is it you need as it seems to be all the small ones are very hard to get hold off.

If they are not Australia made you may well be ok. If in doubt speak to Ugg UK and if necessary make a claim from AD.

I am looking for the classic tall sand in a UK size 3 and a UK size 5 or 6. Looks like cloggs have them in stock at £170, ckecked out sole trader and they are £190 for these ones. I think i may regret not ordering from wang as he doesnt have the 5 or 6 now, only the 3. Most people are saying his are genuine aswell, i was just too scared to waste all that money. Sods law eh!! ha ha

Hi Siowalker, what ones are you looking for?? I would suggest that you buy from someone who has the odd pair for sale and from someone advertising them as 'Genuine Deckers Ugg Australia' boots rather than 'genuine uggs from australia' (as they do). MAny people have bought the wrong size and they are too expensive to return. If they have more than one pair for sale then steer clear!! Or, check their buying history, the woman I bought from had bought them from another huge US Ugg retailer so I knew what I was getting was genuine. If you are like m sister and want to buy the first thing you set your eyes on without thnking about it, then this si when you fall down. She would get ripped off left right and centre if she was on her own PC and not mine (You are not buying THOSE!! LOL)

Can I just add to this if you are buying these for presents, it might be something you want to consider. The long ones look fab but my friend's mum just bought my friend back some from the US (the best way right!!) and she cannot wear them with anything. She has had them over a week and they still have not seen daylight!!!!!!!!!!!!! With bootflares they stick out near the knee and she only has one pair of jeans she can wear them with that they will tuck into so please bear this in mind. I am so pleased I bought the short as I can wear them with anything and I have been living in them. I even wear them (yes this is true) with my pyjamas, LOL, so I am pleased I went for the short and not the tall. I have thought loads of times about buying some tall but I know I won't wear them so for me, it'll be a huge waste of money. It is just something to think about really. The tall ones do look nice but the short are much more practical and can be worn most of the time.

Maybe if everyone posts what 'spares' they have on this thread it will help other MSE's out who cannot get them. The only thing is, the person who PM'd me about mine wanted a 'guarentee' with them and 'paperwork'. I have mine of course but is it from cozyboots but I did tell them that they do have a manufacturers guarentee for 12 months. I'd have thought it was the same as buying any other personal item from someone on eBay, that it is sold as seen and what happens if they don't fit the person who buys them? I have a business AND I can put them through there and put my buying paperwork through too butit is just a thought really if you have spares to sell that people are going to ask stuff like this. I said if they wanted them then it would have to be done properly with VAT on the postage etc... and send an invoice but I never heard anything back. I have the paperwork to show what I paid for them but I still think other MSE'rs are expecting them to cost £10 or something sill. I was one of the 'lucky' ones who got hit with the fed ex duties from cozyboots and so they are the same as the high street for the kids boots now - that was the only thing, the kids boots did not get as much as a saving as the adults as once the postage was added on the saving was wiped out. Just wish I'd of get them from eBay now to be honest but I was looking for the bigger boot sellers online and they charged a fortune for postage. Sorry, just my whinge for the day. Moral of the story if looking for kids boots, get them from bigger eBay sellers like Wang for value for money. I am glad they turned out OK for you guys!!

Cage - where did you get your ones from that you are worried about??

I wanted a UK3 and they were like gold dust. I went everywhere for some and even looked on all the websites mentioned on here. I ended up getting them from Wang as "Blue-Monkey" mentioned them on here (thanks again Blue Monkey!) and they are ace. Definately genuine. Have you emailed him/her to see if he is getting any more in? Delivery was really quick as well. Good luck on your hunt!!

Thats funny Blue Monkey that you wear them with your pyjamas!!! Might try that tonight!!!!

I agree that you'd get more wear from short boots.
