Clearscore and Noddle get the thumbs up from me. 500 with Clearscore and
    and 680 from Noddle 5/5.

Gives me a nice warm glow inside.
Shows how pointless these scores are, 534 on Clearscore and 632 5/5 on Noddle

Works well, reports are simple and clear - like the format - lets see if it continues to pick things up correctly.
  • shhh.. just don't complain, otherwise clearscore shuts you out then ignores you

It's great to have access to this. However, I have noticed a discrepancy in the account information they hold against what they have put in the Summary.

In the Summary section where it gives a breakdown of positive and negative factors, I have a negative factor which states I was over limit on a credit card at a certain date. Nope. The card was well within its limit, then gradually reduced and eventually closed with a nil balance 2 months before the date of the statement the Summary refers to - there was no statement on the date referred to as the account was closed well in advance of that date.

When I check the listing in my Clearscore full report relating to this closed account, the info there is absolutely correct - so why is the Summary completely wrong?! I have sent a message about it but no reply after a week.

Sorry to quote myself but has anyone else had to contact Clearscore directly? It is nearly two weeks since I sent my query and still no response - just wondered how long anyone else has had to wait.

All my (several) accounts that have been opened during this year are showing the monthly reports from January so an account opened in April is showing J F M A M J instead of A M J J A S.

My 2 Santander accounts are showing as closed and new ones opened, the only difference being a different letter after the account number. Both the closed and opened ones show the correct opening dates and report the whole year.

So there are still quite a few glitches on the site.
  • As a long term Noddle user i was interested to see how Clearscore compared and registered as soon as it was available. I've found that only some of my accounts show even though the application credit checks are registered, also I have no financial associations showing despite having joint bank and utilities accounts. I also have two CCJ's listed on Noddle, whereas only one shows with Clearscore (and Experian). The interface can be a bit glitchy and the icons are a bit big but otherwise its good

    i'm a little confused.
clearscore was unable to give me a credit rating because of insufficient information.
i am 52 and have NEVER had a loan, mortgage.credit card or HP.
i have however, had utilities, council tax and phone contracts, all without issue.
i have never owed anybody anything.

it suggests that i should pay all 'debt' off immediately to dive me a score.
but if i don't have a score how will i be able to apply for 'debt'?

I've managed so far without the need for credit, but am a little alarmed to think, that in an emergency, i would be stuck
