Poor Zara! Ear scritches to her, hugs to you, and love to you both. Hope she recovers really quickly.

Thanks a lot.
Can not wait for Monday and diagnosis - very worried as combined with the spine issues no idea how this will be handled.0 -
Left Zara at FR today, she will have TPLO on her back left leg tomorrow and will pick her up Wed evening.
This is such a bad year for my girl, hope she comes out ok..0 -
Hope all goes well.
You know she will get the best of care there.0 -
Thanks.. waiting for a phone call0

The call came but not to me - to Ewa. They have both our numbers and no idea why she was called and not me.
The cruciate operation went well BUT Ewa was told that one of Zara's joints (she did not catch which one) is "completely smashed".
I tried to call back when Ewa called me but FR was closed by then.
Now I have no idea which joint - I suspect tarsal joint as what else? Hip and knee were done so this is the only one left in back leg.
Ewa was told that Noel will see us when we go to pick up Zara at 8pm tomorrow.
I will try to call tomorrow morning to find out what is going on as no way I can wait till 8pm tomorrow to find out.
This is absolutely awful for Zara...0 -
And for you too,Getting Ready. If anyone can sort it out it will be Noel.I hope and pray that he can.Everything crossed for you both. You have had such a tough time of it.You are due some luck for a change.0

Thank you.
We were called last night and advised NOT to pick Zara up as her pain had to be managed at the hospital. We may be able to pick her up tomorrow (Friday) evening.
Zara will need physiotherapy, twice per week. We will start this at FR but it would be much easier to find a fully qualified dog physio in TW13 or close by as it is Ewa who will be taking Zara for the physio sessions.
I ordered a car ramp for Ewa's car so Zara can get in and out easier - lifting a large dog in and out would not be good for the dog or for the person doing the lifting.0 -
Zara is still at FR. They will call me tomorrow and let me know if she is well enough to be picked up Sat or Sun or...
