I HATE my job!!!
I have been here almost 2 hours and had one phone call! Its really sunny, I want to wash my duvet and put it on the line along with the bedding. I was lazy and stayed in bed this morning (no littles so peace perfect peace).
Have decided I need a job where I actually have work collegues, I miss my "pre-kids" working life (not the actual work, but the laughs we used to have). Sorry feeling a bit billy no mates! I love being able to do the baking and craft stuff with the girls but I just feel alone a lot of the time. So must fill in the other job application that came yesterday when i get home. Trouble is it sounds like a fab job and similar stuff to what I did before but its full-time. Not sure I really wanna go that route plus by the time childcare after school is factored in not much point. Oh well will see.
So I have done nothing in the way of flying, keep meaning to do my meal plan but cannot be bothered! still only 3 hours and 10 mins of work left!!0 -

good morning
tinselfairy: sorry to hear it didn't go too well in court :grouphug:
jamiedodger: what a nightmare with the pooping scooping, the joys of motherhood
JillD: I can so empathise with your worrying, I have a child with visual impairment and when she started school, I thought of every bad scenerio there was.. and again when she started secondary school
Pigpen: So much for holiday being a time to relax, I bet you will hanging the flag out the day the schools start back..
Becca: I remember it well.. romantic beach idea... NOT, with a guide dog who was digging right beside us, covering us with sand.... :rotfl:
I have always felt that kids in the UK go to school far too young. In Norway, Sweden, Holland for example kids don't go until they are 6 years old, they are more ready, emotionally and physically, less accidents with wetting themselves etc. and learn much quicker. This ofcourse is my opionion as an "outsider"
2 wash loads on the line
Sc on with beef casserole (smells great already) put some pearl barley in for the first time, hope it turns out nice
made sausage rolls with pastry that needed using and some chili and cranberry sausages (skin removed) for lunch, kids and DH attacked them with gusto
Living room needs hoovering
washing up needs doing
DD1 needs kick up the bum to get her room tidy DD2 has done hers she wanted allowance
Leaving it all to go into town, it's a lovely day, DD2 wants a pair of pink skinny jeans. Wish I could fit into skinny jeans........
have a lovely afternoon..0 -
Well I was going to have the day off today but I've got nothing to do and I really don't want to go into town as its the Matthew Street Festival so the city will be heaving with tourists & drunks  If I was one of the ones in the pub I probably wouldn't mind but since I'm not I'm avoiding the place :rotfl:
Instead I've had a lie-in, made brekkie for me and DD, put some washing out on the line, and a second wash load in the machine  Apart from that I'm going to do NOTHING. Its a bank holiday weekend and OH is off so why should I have to work :rotfl: Anyway, yesterday we did the school shoe shop, & the grocery shop and since school doesn't start back until September 4th here I have no need to really do anything:j Will keep popping in here as I'm playing computer games, have a nice day all
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -

11 days.. and counting!!Becca: I remember it well.. romantic beach idea... NOT, with a guide dog who was digging right beside us, covering us with sand.... :rotfl:
We've had a dog sniff hubby while we were busy in a field... grass seed is pretty painful as well so I'm told!! lol
The beach is the least romantic place I could think of.. maybe after a sewage plant!!! sharp scratchy sand in unmentionable places.. NOT my idea of romance!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Just occured to me, I don't actually know where my iron is, haven't used it for months. Bought DP some lovely shirts for work from Asda, they don't need ironing either I've found, all that for £4, even better
. To be honest if they did it would be pointless, after he's sat in the cab for 5 minutes they are creased again. Life is too short to iron :rotfl:
shell, hope you find something soon, you sound really fed up
For once I am looking forward to the return to school, I hate the chaos on a morning which will be even worse as DS1 getting picked up by 8.15am (I struggled to get hm out by 9am before!) but he's just had enough, he thrives on the routine when happy in school, he now hates the kids next door and so do I at the minute, they've been told to go away today as I'm sick of them whinging on, banging on the door every 2 minutes telling tales like -he's bouncing on the trampoline and I'm trying to write - well get off the trampoline it's for bouncing not writing! Also the damage being done to our stuff, I don't mind paying for it when it's my kids who've done it, they pay from pocket money but this little swine damages stuff then denies it (blamed a kid who is on holiday this morning, I seen him do it, I hate lies! Especially ones that will cost me £30)
RANT OVER, roll on 9 days time which is when they're back to school, I might keep mine off for an extra day so we can enjoy it without anyone else spoiling it! Actually that's a silly idea. Flags waiting! One day I might be more organised...........

Afternoon all.
Had a nice morning up the lottie with DS3 in tow. We cycled up there, he had a turn on the swings then I set him to work. He picked toms and blackberries then I made use of him by putting him on my shoulders to pick apples!
He would not help collect the potatoes as he did not want muddy hands like mine but he did trim 75 leeks we needed to plant out. He is suck a limpet but can be useful.
Not flying today. Need to check which of my ebay stuff is selling and OH is cleaning some more stuff to go on today.
Need to make apple crumbel and blanch some more beans for freezing.
Hope the sun is shining on you all xThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Aaaww.. Dusty it is nice when they want to be with you though.. my DD4 is like that I can't move without her stuck to my knee!!
Ebay gibble done.. one item in the wash, 4 not paid (GGgrrrr), 1 I need to search for and 2 I need bigger bags for..
Just waiting for my tesco order to arrive.
the children are being fab today.. after being little !!!!!! while we were away they are good as gold today.. I swear they do it on purpose!!!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Dusty sounds lovely, wish we had an allotment, I would love the space to do all that veg etc. My garden has been taken over by kids stuff so not much chance in there. I do have a few flowers on my strawberries in the planters however, I got very excited because it's the first thing I've grown very successfully from seed
sad maybe but it felt good.
Oh I've got a his lazyship too, not a chance him cooking however, I even put a list up of jobs which need doing, he said 'I'm bored' more times than I care to count, has sat at the laptop since 12 when he got up and is now on the Playstation. Annoying me screeching on about it! I don't care if they jumped out on you, it's a game!
Think I'm more annoyed as I just had to clear a dumped on kitchen bench, what was on it ? rubbish! The bin is next to it, yet when I say 'what's this for?' to him he says 'just to be binned' well why not put it in there then!
Waiting for the water to heat up so I can do lunch/breakfast washing up, berries in salt water will freeze them later, going to sit here with a coffee and a packet of oreo cookies and wallow in self pity!
Oh I have moaned a lot today haven't IOh I've spotted the iron :rotfl: oh well at least I know where it is for when DS2 is making those bead things instead of having to heat a pan up and use that
One day I might be more organised...........
