hi,I save £2 coins and am now about to take part in the olympic challenge over on the debt-free section, i've never used a student account as i already had bank accounts, i put any savings in a seperate account and only use it when desperate.0

Crikey - this seems to have died a death!!!
Anyway - I just got turned down for the ALF - Single mum, 2 kids and learning to teach - Apparently they ran out of money- sigh!!!!! My mate just got 3.5 K!!! No wonder they ran out if they're giving that much away!
One good thing - I used my NUS card in Amsterdam and got student discount as it's the ISIC as well- meant I got into the NeMo (Scuence Museumy fun place for kids) for 6.5 Euros - my little was 11 Euros!!!!
And before anyone says I shouldn't be in Amsterdam if I'm broke - it was a pressie from the 'rents so I could have a break for a change:pNoli nothis permittere te terere

Thread from the dead. How is everyone doing with this?! I graduated last year and am now renting a flat with the other half. We're currently trying to save for a deposit but its slow progress.

If this club is active then I’d like to join. I'm serious about saving money for University. I need to change my spending habits, when I have to shop I'm making it sure I will look in places that offer student discounts. And with the help of money management tools, I can take a good look at just where most of the money went. Food? Gas? Games? I''m hoping this technique will help me to follow my plan and correct my spending habits.0
