Hey, this sounds like a really good idea, i'd like to join.
Shall we put a bit about the subjects we're doing and which Uni's we're at because obviously different people incur different costs. I'm at Sheffield and about to go into 2nd year in Human Geography. I have to deal with paying for fieldtrips which are essential for modules and also expensive textbooks. Unlike Scottishlass, its impossible to get our library books because they're in such short supply!!

I'll join too! I'm just finishing my placement year as a student engineer, and am about to enter my final year at university. I'll have to see how the money situation goes as for once I'm planning on not working during my final year of hard study!

it's great that so many of you want to join in!! sometimes there's not enough encouragement in the student world to be really moneysaving-y so now we've got our own little place to chat moneysaving. plus we don't need the added stress of having no money so hopefully this will make it a bit more fun to keep on top of our money
