I'm a mature student too... although I am hoping to be out living it up with the youngsters in the first week
I expect I shall slow down pretty quickly as my hangovers are hideous these days!!
Not sure how I'll fare with the £1000 challenge, I'm definitely planning to save but whether I'll be doing the 'money for nothing' approach or not..Student moneysaving club - member no. 6Uni Reading0 -

i'm having this problem! At 21, I'm all of a sudden a mature student (I don't think it's fair at all lol), and I'm convinced I can't drink as much anymore! I'm willing to try tho**"Cheer up, it could get worse" - I cheered up, and look, it got worse!**0 -
hi guys! just thought i'd set a mini challenge....... by using either your knowledge of prices or websites like tesco etc, what is your ideal week of food on the cheapest budget? how cheap could you go without denying yourself the things you like?
i got a free booklet thing from sainsbury's with some vouchers in (they were by the till in the little one i went to) and they had a their basic shopping list for under £10, but it was a load of things i wouldn't have anyway! so i'm gonna create my own and it'd be cool to see what u guys would do too0 -
