How does your incredibly thick fraudster deal with the fact that by the time they get to a shop you can/will already have disabled Apple Pay?
I am sorry to have to tell you that you won't make a good thief (who does?!?), or a good crime writer.0 -

Better to give an imprint than lose the finger!
So, why would this hypothetical criminal not just go after credit/debit cards? Much easier and more flexible for the thief.0 -
Haven't checked all 28 pages of the thread so not sure if this point has been raised already but l feel the wording of the offer is misleading. Thinking you get 5% cahsback on upto the first £100 you spend contactless (but nothing on amounts more than £100) l have been using my card for small purchases but l haven't received any cashback despite fulfilling all the required banking conditions. On phoning them it transpires you have to spend at least £100 or more first before you receive your £5 and if you only spend say £99 you get nothing. This wasn't my reading/understanding of the offer which states cashback on the first £100 spent - nowhere does it state there is a minimum spend requirement of at least £100. l have called them and said the wording is misleading but they say its very clear that you must spend at least £100 to qualify for anything so l have raised a complaint with them.l have two degrees in English and its not clear to me!! Am l wrong and missing something that everyone else is seeing as they said no-one else has complained??!!0

That is most certainly not the case. You get 5% on all transactions totalling up to £100. Both myself and MrsM have successfully got the cashback for the past 2 months, have not spent over £100 and had never used the cards before the cash back offer commenced.
When did you start using the card ? The cash back is calculated calendar monthly and applied towards the end of the following month.0 -

Will just go and check but if you are right their own staff have NO idea how it all works as they assured me time and again you had to spend at least £100 and even checked with their higher complaints team! They offered to pay me the interest to settle my complaint but l said l wanted to take it further as it would affect a lot of people!0

You definitely don't have to spend at least £100 to get the cashback.
As people have asked, when did you make your purchases?0 -
thanks molerat and yorkshireboy - l think you are right as my first use of the card was on 5th Nov and so l should receive it next week as you say. That still leaves a situation where their own staff have absolutely no idea how a product works as they assured me you have to spend more than £100 after checking with higher teams three or four times and then they double checked to see if l now "understood" the process! Incredible - l wonder what their written response will be! They even assured me it was very clear from the wording that you had to spend at least £100 which l disputed. Are you sure you have received the 5% cashback and not just the interest on your balance??0

Afraid to say, yes, it seems you are indeed missing something, as the cashback terms clearly say
2.3 Cashback on your qualifying purchases will be paid during the next calendar month (for qualifying purchases made in September 2015, cashback will be paid in October 2015).
Time to pour yourself a drink and relax, perhaps. You made a mistake, the TSB CS might also have made a mistake. Celebrate that you are both humans.0
