yes it is! can i ask what book, am intrigued now!
Sorry, Aesop, I didn't mean to ignore your question:o
It was called The Assassination of Marilyn Monroe by Donald H Wolfe, published in 1998. I'm completely fascinated by her life and death. I'm probably totally irrational but there it is:o
Why were you intrigued?0 -

because I love books and for you to be watching for a book, means it must be a really interesting one, not just your normal book.
Yes, I always wonder about Marilyn's death... was it controlled by some group? along with other deaths's since0 -
As you pro-actively saved £s on your car insurance I think you can count that on here. Is that right Aesop ??
if it was actual cash that you had that you saved by bargain hunting, yes I would add it, especially if now it can be savings or used for bills/day to day living etc. If it was virtual money, ie you knew you would have to pay out x amount but didn't have cash, no, I wouldn't include it.0 -
50 points on LuckyPhone this morning makes 100 in total (slow but sure), and I signed up and have been accepted for my first video review for WhatUsersDo (will do it after I drop the kids at school), will let you know how it goes!MSE-ing since 20070

I'm always looking out for all sorts of books:rotfl:, reading is my main hobby and by using the library and charity shops/carboots it's a nice cheap one:j. Plus, there's the bonus of then selling on anything I buy so it's a win-win.
Charity shops are in danger of pricing themselves out of the market in many cases. I know they are desperate for money but, especially in the case with books, they seem to have the same ones on the shelves for ages and then only have to have a 'sale' to get rid of them. Even with £2.80 postage it's sometimes cheaper to buy a book for 1p on Amazon than in a charity shop these days and as I've usually got a Gift Card balance on Amazon from survey redemptions it means I don't have to spend any real money:j. This particular book has been on my 'to look out for' list for so long that I thought it time to make more of an effort to find it. It has excellent customer reviews too. Amazon had a whole list of them for sale at 1p:j. I went for the hardback in the best condition offered. Not started it yet but might over the weekend:j.0 -

Well done, esbm. Prolific seems to be a good payer for a lot of people on here:T. I joined when Aesop first mentioned it but haven't made much effort with it so far. Must do better:o.
All my eBay listings have one bid each now (only managed to get 11 listed in time as I like to do 7 day Sunday-Sunday evening auctions). Plenty of time still for some bidding-wars to break out:rotfl:. Am more prepared for the next batch, all pics/scans done, although we're talking very low-cost items here:(0 -
well done CBC
just had a notification. made another sale on eBay.
restoring my computer back to win 8.1 as win 10 keeps crashing on me and I can't print wirelessly. plus I use myhermes for eBay so I can track my items. not helpful when laptop loses WiFi and printer has no software for win10 so can't print! I have to plug it in which defeats purpose of WiFi printer
DS' school are very good, get a Friday update and have had some forms which needed printing and signing. we can request paper copy in book bag but if I am at home I want to print and vdeal with immediately.
also had letter back from Barclay's saying can't find PPI Lois, surprise surprise. luckily there is a thread on mse about my PPI and a helpful address to write to. but now need to go buy stamps lol
keep trying to get onto this royal mail thing where you get paid in stamps but don't want me0
