Cool, thanks. Will use the rice as it's not likely to be used and then if I want to make any more - will use the pearl barley.
Just need to search through my box of fabric remnants and see if I can find one that's cotton
working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
I'm cracking out the hot water bottles today. I don't need one at night because if the boyfriend isn't staying over I have a round of cats and a dog in my room which keeps me snug.
Going on the search for cheap stuffing after work, might just get some cheap cushions and rip them open, wanting to make a draft excluder for my bedroom.
Thanks for the link bertie, i might make a couple of those this afternoon aswell!0 -

I've succumbed last night and put the heating on. I came in from hydrotherapy cold and sore, miserable and just wanted some comfort. Didn't even have the energy to eat anything proper but a bread roll and some crackers. (me not eating a meal is big thing!)
Soon as the flat was warm I turned it off and knocked myself out with my tablets.
Feel a bit better today so am going do a little tidying and see if I can manage to put the radiator foil on.Getting there... A deal at a time. :T0 -
I have just read an article on the BBC which says we are going to have a very mild winter, I wish they would make up their minds0
