  • Quorn chilli and brown rice from the freezer for me today and lots of fruit. Also have some cup-soups in my drawer for snack attack emergencies. Hope everyone has a good TLW day.

    Added to here :)

Welcome back B17c, you are on the list.

Morning everyone! Great to see your LTWs and that you even have a back up at work if you forget to take it.

My LTW today will be leftover curry and some pitta breads.
  • On Monday I decided to track what I spent on food/drinks during the day and it came to over £7.00! Definitely need this challenge...

Yesterday went well for me. I made sure I had breakfast in the morning and packed a water bottle and a couple of snacks to take with me to work. I only needed snacks as I knew that I would get some free homemade soup and cake at work yesterday. I went and bought a little shopping at Lidl's in the afternoon and did end up eating some of that at work as I was still hungry but it was stuff I was needing to buy anyway so I'll still bank this as one of my 30 days.

Yesterday and today both successes. Have bought salad to make for this week, thinking it might be time to switch that up for soup, as I found myself longing for something a bit more substantial.

Still, avoided the temptation when I went out for fresh air!
  • Today I had a tin of tomato soup. 2/15.

Homemade lentil soup and a bagel for lunch again.

Got to go to a birthday lunch out tomorrow grrr.

I didn't mind when we did it once a month for whoevers birthday it is that month but people have started organising one for everybody's individual birthday!!! No no no, spoke to the main instigator today and said it was a bit much.

Got one nearly every week and it adds up! Feel like a miser but I like to choose what I spend my money on.

  • gunsandbanjos good on you for speaking up. It's probably not just you who's finding it a bit much but they're just embarrassed to say. Even if the organiser ignored what you said at least you've spoken.

On night shift tonight so "lunch will be later". For lunch at home, I had scrambled eggs for lunch, sons had the frozen YS chicken tikka that I bought for 2p last week. Tonight's dinner is egg noddles and vegetable stir fry which will also be tonight's LTW #2.

  • I had my breakfast, lunch and snacks today and didn't buy anything else woo.

I have packed my breakfast (using 10p rhubarb), egg salad (using a 1p bag of spinach) and snacks (using a 1p bag of carrots). Practically free so tastes all the better roll on day 2!
