marmite the chickypoodles have started mounting fevvers everywhere so they stop laying temporarily as all their energy goes into producing new feathers. They only live about 5 years, and lay eggs like crazy for the first year or two then it tails off. The older chicken is about 3 years old so I suspect her egg laying days are over - you could, I suppose, call it the hen-opause?
