Well,I've added up my holiday nsds, and have now reached #15 (today and yesterday were nsds, and 12 days of my holidays were nsds as already budgeted for ie holiday money).
Sorry,no update after last night,as halfway through TGBBO,I felt knackered and had to go to bed.
Caught up now.Shame to see Paul go,but his genoisy nun stack skills are sadly lacking....not as lacking as Igor's though, whose anchovy flavoured creme pat chocolate sprinkle eclairs we all found a bit hard to swallow.
Honestly Igor, could you just tone it down a bit? What's with the anchovy obsession anyway?
Ah,Mamma's favourite perfume was 'Anchovy Water' by Hesty Louder...... that explains so much....
I dread to think where his ferret pilchard obsession comes from...No doubt their Saturday night entertainment featured Grampy Igor happily knocking back a couple of pints of 'Ye Olde Fartinge Nunne' with the highly amusing 'ferret down the trousers' routine.... as for the pilchards,I did hear a vague rumour that Mamma used to tell bedtimes stories about the pilchard fairy.
Anyway to reality.Today is going to spendy for me I think.0 -

Good morning, NSD gang, hoping for a NSD today as money being paid out for some gardening work was already counted on the day I took it out of the bank. We get a local firm to come round twice a year and cut back the big hedges and bushes, then we keep on top of everything else ourselves. Right now the chap is clearing an overgrown patch near the chicken run and is being supervised very intently by a robin.
Let's hope the junior cat doesn't see it and remember what her original purpose in life was.....this year (she is now 3) is the first year since we had her as a five month old kitten that I haven't gone into the garden most mornings and seen evidence of mass slaughter. Mice, voles, I'm fine with that. Birds, no.One life - your life - live it!0 -
Better keep quiet about the voles Nargle....
You keep chickens do you?
Cheffie,Cheffie, calm down, remove all chicky chicky thoughts from your mind.OOps,I might have resort to my 'valium in the teapot' routine again.
Yikes.Sorry.
I'd love to have chickens, but living in a flat sort of puts paid to that idea.
How many do you have?0 -
Just two in an Eglu ( a modern design chicken house from a company called Omlet ) in the back garden. One has just about stopped laying but the other still gives us 4 - 5 eggs a week.
(No, Igor, you tell Helga about my voles comment and I will tell her what you did to her favourite vole when we ran out of cheese eating mice for prizes.....poor little vole is still in counselling after that!)One life - your life - live it!0 -
Number 12 NSD has just joined his mates in the Cauldron of Doom! Might just do it this month, fingers crossed. One life - your life - live it!0
