marmite - don't worry about Chef using the forbidden garlic, he is having a complete rest from cooking during our stay at Igor's uncle's place. Igor will be taking over the kitchen, with the assistance of Hubert and Mrs Doyle. Though I suspect Chef will not be able to resist shoving his ginormous moustachioed hooter into things, so be ready for fireworks. One life - your life - live it!0

Hey i'm actually going to this month properly and aim for 25 NSDs,
With every NSD I get, I'll put £1 in my Savings. I need the extra boost.NSD 3/25 | SA: £38.00 | EF: 38.130 -
Good morning NSD gang and Happy First of September! A month where the kids go back to school, the summer slides into autumn, fruit crops are ready for picking,.....And we will all be off to Igor's uncle's grand old castle in Transylvania for a few weeks of rest and recuperation in the health spa (part of the family business, I believe). We will first spend a day or two at home here in Ennessdee Towers, whilst all the gang gets together, then we will be off.
So, plenty of opportunities to start off our NSD collection by not going out spending, and by emptying out the fridge and food cupboards before going away. Chef and Igor are planning some interesting money saving meals for us to use up all the food stocks......beetroot curry with vanilla chapatis, pilchard crumble, lovely......One life - your life - live it!0 -
Still need to tidy up August's spreadsheet pages so that I can declare over on the last thread, but I'm in again
Going for my standard 15 NSD's please
I'm not setting an in-a-row this month. I know I missed it in August, partly due to being on a trial for a job which meant I couldn't ensure shop spending coincided with D/Debits the way I have been doing. Still on trial, but should hopefully know later this week if I've got a proper job offer or not.
Today is a spend day, due to the bulk of my household D/Debits going out. Off to work in the next half hour, so it's been a spot of housework and paperwork until lunch and I won't have chance to hit the shops today (finish at 6:30, won't be away until closer to 7, then it's a 35 minute cycle ride home before I can make tea)
