If you've been holding a never ending glass of wine or gin all week you've done really well to only put on 1/4lb!!! Wish that would happen to me, LOL!

Me too. It must be a very tiny glass or the booze was instead of food!:rotfl:

    Very small glass indeed
The glasses I had the other night I reckon took at least a third of a bottle  In contract in France they have small wine glasses like we used to have here many moons ago.

Glad you're getting back into a routine greentiger. I'm sure that helps with SW as well as life in general.:)

You should have watched Nigella last night and had virtual food instead lantanna. She's lost a lot of weight since all her relationship issues and I don't think her recipes were quite as oil/cream/sugar filled as usual. I really only watch it for entertainment but I did like the look of a cauliflower and chickpea warm salad she made.

You're right beanie. In France, all the cafes and bars use small (125ml max) glasses. Even in good restaurants where you might have bigger glasses they only put a small amount of wine to let it breathe while we just fill them up. My DH drinks from those small glasses at home. I don't:o.

I'm off to a carvery this evening for a meet up with some friends. We only go 6 times a year and I've trained myself to skip the yorkies. The problem is the roast potatoes but as they're at the end of the counter, try to fill the plate with other veg first. And then there's the wine syns;).

Looking forward to my lunch. I put a small piece of shin in with the HB steaks on Sunday and kept that and some gravy to heat up with LO some veg:drool:.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS Grapefruit, baked beans, HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks
L: LO HB beef, potatoes and veg
D: carvery with LOADS of veg
    Syns: Lots!:(

Back properly on plan tomorrow until Friday when we're out for lunch. It's not good but it's RL. When I was getting to target I was more strict with myself AND IT's WORTH IT!!

Well done to all you losers!!! :j

Well, as ever, my start to SW has been a bit of a shambles. I did really well yesterday but unfortunately my sleeping patterns are all over the shop as I work until 5am at the weekends. So last night I got no sleep at all

Wandering round college like a bit of a zombie today, managed to have weetabix (a/b) and a banana at first break and soup (free) and a roll for lunch. Have also had coffee so my milk allowance is wildly out of control and I seemed to think that the roll was ok as it's a HEXB even though I'd had the weetabix!!!! What a muppet!! :rotfl:

So I am estimating 10 syns so far today for the extra milk and roll, will be having a jacket spud and beans for tea and then straight to bed. Need to go and do a proper shop on my day off tomorrow and maybe write some sort of plan.

It's good to be back xxx

Daisy don't forget to have some Speed foods with or after your jacket! It's probably the most important part of the SW plan.

Depending on what you had in your soup (assuming not a meat/fish one) then you could rescue today after all. Without meat you could call today a Green day when you're allowed an extra HEA (more milk) and HEB (roll). Even if it was a HM meat soup the chances of there being much meat are low so probably better synning that.

Definitely write a plan daisy and a shopping list to go with it. Make the plan fit in with your shifts so you've got things to eat for your meals at strange times and time when you're able to prepare them. It's what most of us do (i.e. prepare ready meals in down time to eat them when no time to cook) it's just that your meals are at different times. If pushed you could always try some SW Ready Meals from Iceland. They're free but need Speed adding;).

Well my first day has been "interesting"

I couldn't get any of my alternative breakfast of fat free total greek yogurt this morning because the one shop on my way to work that sold it now doesn't  so I had oat so simple instead as that's what I had at work. Work was proper frantic all day so my "lunch" consisted of two cherry muller lights and a packet of crisps.

My dinner this evening will be a plate full of veg with a side serving of a SW/Iceland meal that I picked up on my way home from work., a chicken dish.

I bought one of the soups top, but does it really need to be cooked from frozen? Can't I let it defrost overnight and cook it at lunchtime tomorrow as normal? :o

Off to fill in my food diary thing :)

Have also wondered about cooking the soups from unfrozen.
    Thoughts?

    Hi all,

Not sure if this weigh in is for the last week of the Halloween challenge or first week of the new one - I'll let Shala decide :)

    But it's 2 lbs off :j
