Hello all, reporting a 3lb Gain this week. Sigh. Nuff said. I'll be getting kicked off the thread soon!

No one gets thrown off this thread. Stick around, keep posting your menus and we'll help any way we can:).

b17C, you could try having courgette spaghetti (either make it yourself with a spiraliser or buy it in Tesco) but I'd have thought just eating from a bowl on its own would be enough of a snack but probably quicker and easier to make a soup of your choice and breadsticks are only 1 syn each if you can eat those or have with Ryvita.

Hello everyone - and hi to new folks.

I'd like to report STS this week, shala.

I think I'm starting to get some routines established again, thank goodness. I've got a circular route for visiting my ill friends (in 2 different towns, neither where I am)and I've cut down to just 2 nights a week. I think I've worked out how to get round the pick up/ collect of DGS1 without losing much of the day. But just heard another friend is having a tough time too :( This getting on lark can be a right pest!

    Anyhoo Here's today's damage
Breakfast: 2 Alpen light, grapes, ML Greek lemon yogurt
Lunch: JP with hexa cheese, spring onions, xl mayo (1), salad (lettuce, cucumber, red pepper
    Snack: fun size Maltesers (5)
Dinner: chicken Kiev (2 ½), potatoes, broccoli, green beans
Snack: banana, blueberries & ff natural yogurt
    Total 8 ½

Well, this is not a good start the half term was not helpful(actually it was excellent, but not in the SW sense!). Had a visit from my best mate who now lives in Spain. Amongst other things I seemed to have been holding a never ending glass of wine or gin...oops. I ought to report a +1/4 for this week.

    Thanks Shala.

    Thanks Shala.

If you've been holding a never ending glass of wine or gin all week you've done really well to only put on 1/4lb!!! Wish that would happen to me, LOL!

    Well done losers!! :T

Yesterday didn't go to plan, got into bed at 7 after an angelic tea to read. Tv was boring me, had all intentions of reading for an hour and getting back up again. Must have read for 5 minutes and then fell asleep. Woke up at 9 so hungry. Hate that awful feeling when you fall asleep when you shudnt and wake up again, its like a hangover.

So then proceeded to eat a Nakd Bar, 4 dark rye ryvittas and a packet of popchips. Theres about 15 syns right there.

    Such an idiot.

Anyway its done now so just have to march on. Going to weigh in on Friday and see where I am and then won't be weighing for another 2 weeks. Have decided that's best for me at the minute. The sad step just annoys me and sends me on a spiral of eating no matter what it says.

    I am still a size 13:mad:

Horrible place to be, 12s too tight, 14s too big. Stuck in this place for most of this year

Menu for today (No sleeping and unplanned eating allowed)

    B: 2 Satsumas & Muller Light

L: Braising Steak, Carrot & Parsnip Mash, Cabbage, Mixed Veg

    D: Chicken Stirfry

Syns : Count on us Strawberry Trifle ( 6 Syns)

Gym bag in the car for after work

Lantanna: Agree that's a horrible feeling but well done on drawing the line and getting back on plan.

Feeling a bit more human now as I've eaten some breakfast - up at 5 this morning to take DH to work as I need the car to go to the opticians and to get some shopping.

We've got a taster morning on Thursday and have decided to make some vegetable pakoras (from the SW website); anyone made these before? Not feeling too sure about mixing with curried natural yoghurt and then baking. Just hope it doesn't curdle.

Today's plan will be another EE day:

B - scrambled eggs on toast; strawberries (need using up as getting soft)
L - sweet chilli noodles with bits of veg & chicken. Made using HM sweet chilli sauce which is Free but think I may need to add some from a bottle as well when I put it in a dish!
D - 2 butchers low fat sausages (1 syn); mash; broccolli & green beans

HEA - milk in tea as usual
    HEB - bread
Syns - 1 for sausages plus maybe 2 for sweet chilli sauce

I'm on my third day of EESP. I've been good and stayed away from the scales but I'm feeling much better on it already so hopefully will get a good result on Saturday. The second HEB really helps, I can see why there was so much backlash on minimins when they stopped promoting red and green days!

    Menu today...
Breakfast - SP-friendly fry up with 1 slice bread (1/2 HEB)
Lunch - Using up whatever's in the fridge pre-shopping. Chicken, chickpeas and sad salad bits, I think :p
Dinner - Slow cooker navarin stew (on SW's website)
Snacks - Fruit, Hifi/Alpen Light (1/2 HEB), Coffee (HEA), Lebkuchen :happyhear

Other HEB still to use. Probably a baked apple for pudding.

lantanna I'm stuck between sizes as well. I've made it my goal for this month to comfortably get in the lower size. Should be achievable as I did wear the smaller ones out yesterday but they were a bit muffin-toppy by the end of the day :rotfl:
