Sorry to hear you have been struggling Shala, can you please remove me from the chart as well. I'm not giving up thought and neither are you.

I'm not weighing for a while and won't be participating in the next challenge.

A weekly weigh isn't working for me at the minute. Been trying from July and haven't lost anything. Think what happens is I get annoyed with not having lost anything on a Friday and then console myself with stuff over the weekend and then its a fight to stay the same for the following Friday. Bit of a vicious circle and it needs to stop! I am more relaxed with my eating and although I am not being overly bad I am being nowhere near as strict or exercising as much control as I used to.

Was thinking about things I used to do and things that have changed and things that have contributed to me regaining weight. I've become addicted to Instagram and that needs to stop as well. Some people can eat chocolate every day and lose weight. When I was losing lots I was having something like a Freddo once a week as a treat and not everyday like I am doing now. Instagram is great for food ideas etc but to be honest when its slim people posting pics of the chocolate / naughty stuff they are sitting down to it does nothing but make you want to eat it yourself, encourage bad habits and make you think you can get away with stuff. So I have removed a lot of accounts and am only allowed to catch up with it once a day just after food so it doesn't make me hungry! :rotfl: Yes Maman I do like the dark choc and there was once a time that was the only chocolate I would eat and I could seem to have a bit frequently. Now I have funsize everything in the house! Its all rounded up and put away out of sight. I was thinking about the old Gillian McKeith programme where she used to get peoples foods for the week and spread it out on a table. I was thinking what would mine look like. A funsize packet of malteasers or something similar doesn't look like much in a day but if you times that by 7 its looks like a lot more doesn't it! I remember the days of buying a treat size Crunchie after weigh in and that was my Chocolate treat for the week! We are all different and we all know what puts weight on us and how we can lose weight. I definitely needed to take the time to remind myself.

Its not all bad, I do still have some good habits like parking my car as far away as possible from the shops etc so I have to walk further. I think I'll always do that without thinking about it now. My sister thinks I'm mad :rotfl:as my little white car is always on its on at the back of car parks looking suspicious!

Anyway I'll still be posting obviously and will keep you updated on my weight. Just going to focus on eating really healthily and exercising like you Shala I'll be following the old Extra Easy and trying to get the old me back. Not sure when I will weigh again but going to take a break from the scales. I would like to lose some weight for Christmas without doubt.

For a long time there I wanted to eat the foods more than I wanted to lose weight. Now its flipped again thankfully and I want to be the better version of me than I want to eat the foods. Think I've sickened myself too to be honest. Last week was awful with getting the coil in and my hormones being all over the place. I wanted to bath in carbs and for a couple of days I did. Not going into details! There is no point. Its not big, its not clever and it doesn't make you feel any better!

Went to the gym and went swimming yesterday and that was tough as the cramps where bad yesterday morning but I knew I would feel better afterwards.

Onwards and upwards. Watch this space I say because I will def be getting to target soon. Going to see how I get on and if I feel I need to return to a group in the New Year I will.

Sorry for such a long post. But quite happy even with my cramps as I feel like I have got my head sorted for slimming again.

I am, I will not be defeated! It is not all bad, I have lost and kept off nearly 5 stone. I am not back where I started and I will get back to where I want to be.

Talking of BUTTS I work with a lovely woman who is what I would call slim but curvy and shes in a huff today coz her dad decided to point out to her that her bottom has gotten rather large:rotfl:

I'm feeling good, I'm feeling in control and motivated :D

I'm still reading every day, not much to contribute other than moaning about my tum issues so best I keep quiet lol.

wiz, why not try the Colman's Fresh Garden mint that CP recommends? That's free.

Honestly it is the only one I like.... And my husband who would only eat the jelly one has been converted too. Add some vinegar into it and its perfect!

Thanks for the encouragement CP x.. is it just the oven that's broken or have you lost a hob too? Do you have a microwave?

I don't have a microwave, and all my friends and family laugh at me for it :rotfl: I've had one 3 times, and all 3 times it took up valuable workbench space (I look to cook and bake) and all it ever got used for was to store letters on top and the odd box of fries to go! Seriously I just don't use them. :rotfl: I have dug the halogen out of the caravan, and my top oven is working along with the hob. The element has gone which is why the fan oven isn't working so things are so bad now I have had time to think things over. Also have my slow cooker and actifry.

Yesterday I had a bowl of shreddies (HEA and HEB)

Then I have sw chips and egg

Then I had a afternoon/night on the vodka! But I was sooo good! Alternated vodka diet cokes with plain diet cokes (had 5 vodkas I think) and I didn't have another thing to eat! No pizza/chips or anything on the way home. I am SO proud of myself. First time I have ever done this!

Today is weigh day, I've had 2 HI-FI bars, a small tin of spag hoops and a slice of wholemeal bread.... Took some chops out the freezer and looking forward to chips, sw roasties, peas and gravy tonight! Not good eating habits today I know but I'm tired from yesterday and can't be bother to make anything to be honest!

Lantanna do keep us up to date and keep on posting. Sometimes we all need to take a step back (like I did earlier this year). I need to get motivated to get back to the gym this week.... Please give me a kick up the ;) :rotfl:

Be be back later to update folks.... Wish me luck!

    CP xx

We are watching you Tweets and Poppy is too! :rotfl:

Well done on resisting the food after drinking Counting Pennies, that is the hardest part of drinking I find making sure it doesn't lead into food!

Get yourself into the gym Missy! You'll feel better for it.

I just did 20 squats in the work bathroom because I'm crazy and I felt like it! :rotfl:

    :D

I find my clothes are the best guide for knowing how I'm doing without weighing. As you know, I don't have scales at home otherwise I know I'd be obsessive every time I went to the bathroom. And do keep posting regularly. I use this thread as my meal planner/food diary just to keep me focused.

CP, glad to hear you do have some cooking facilities although, like you, I'd miss my oven if it packed up. Well done on your restraint yesterday:T. I sat in a caf! this afternoon and everyone else had a huge slice of apple cake. I took a taste of DH's but otherwise saintly.

When I made the savoury mince on Friday I used a (just under) 500g pack of mince and when I'd added in all the veg (carrots, onions, garlic and mushrooms) I made 10 portions. If I 'do the math' that's less than 50g of mince each which means I could have it as a HEB on Green. I'm pleased about that as I could put cheese on top of a cottage pie or use an extra HEA somehow. Sorry to ramble but I was pleased to find that out.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS Grapefruit, kippers, HEB bread, HEA milk for drinks
L: snacked on ham and beetroot
D: savoury mince, new potatoes, carrots, broccoli and cauli
Syns: scrape of spread and maybe some 70% chocolate

I'm ignoring the little pat of butter in the kippers as it's shared with DH ad I never mop it up off the plate.

Can I join your next challenge please?

Half an hour ago I was standing in a church hall with an SW registration form and a pen in my hand. Leader person doesn't have her scales  :rotfl: :rotfl:

That's £50 still in my pocket so I need to find online all the info I need and I'll be going it alone so to speak.

What do you need from me?
