I haven't received any notification either! I am currently complaining to TalkTalk about a number of issues, and their response will inform my decision on whether to stay with them or not. Quite frankly, the quicker I can leave the better, and this price rise might be the opportunity. When we talk about "best value", it's not just about price - their customer service is appalling!0

Just received email today, had nothing but trouble with them since I signed up in January then package was £20.20 broadband(£3.50)+phone. we had £1.50 rise back in April and now another £3.50 expected on October 4th to a new total of £25.20 all while under a 12 month contract, I will be leaving them but who to go to? they all seem to have raised prices 2-3 times a year.0

I have my Mobile sim with TT and it is very cheap for what I get. I think that if I tried to cancel my broadband and landline I would lose my mobile sim. Does anyone else have this problem?0

For the last 10 days after calls each day from talktalk and calm haggling and only £2 off the extra £10 per month they are wanting to charge me I now say "byebye" to talk talk and have got a great deal with Plusnet (uk call centres) hooray!! If you don't get what you want ditch it.:0

I left talktalk phone and broadband earlier this year and had no trouble renewing my sim contract with them just recently.0 -
although there have been increases in the last 12 months, my TT bill has stayed the same.£7.10+ line rental paid upfront till December. That's £2.10 pcm, for BB and phone anytime unlimited and £5 boost for mobiles.
I am on old AOL platinum BB unlimited for £2.10 pcm(£5 discount, loyalty)
Although my plan says evening and weekends on phone, I 've always had unlimited, anytime at no extra cost.
Renewing early alters the bill time, and as I did it in october last year, £172, the Pro-Rata was wrong,it took a few long calls to correct it.
There must have been another rise since then??>£185??
I haven't received my e-mail yet,and don't know whether to renew early, as according to literature, my plan is going up from £7.10> £10+
Been with them years, AOL, CPW, now TT.
I hate having to phone them, although they are usually pretty good.
Wait till I'm in a good mood before I phone:mad:0 -

What at a reasonable price ? I have just renewed at existing members price of £3.95 for small size which is all I need and I haggled and got unlimited texts and over double the data they were offering!!0 -
I haven't received the email about the price hike yet. Been chatting with TalkTalk on live chat today and been told you have to have received the email in order to leave without being charged a cancellation fee: apparently it shows on their side of your account when the email has been sent to you and if you leave without it being sent you will incur the charge. They also say your new provider will deal with the switch: you don't do it direct.
Does this sound legit or like they're fibbing?0 -

I am in a similar situation so I called TalkTalk to ask. Basically, the discounted sim deals I have at the moment will not change, they will still be half price with double data. Also, TalkTalk are happy to renew the sim contracts at the same price. I think the only sim contract where the price would change if you were to cancel broadband and/or talk services is the unlimited £12 sim deal which i believe would double in price were you to leave. You are also unable to start any new sim deals if you leave broadband and/or talk.0 -
It's about time mid term changes to the contracts were outlawed. I'm on a half price broadband deal and was paying £1.75/ month until June when it went up to £2.50/month and now it's going up to £3.75/month. That's a 114% price increase in less than 6 months!
That said the amount I'll end up paying for the full year is still cheap and there are deals to be done with TalkTalk. At the end of my last contract I checked the deals available in my area and got on to TalkTalk disconnections. I ended up staying with them and paying £81 up front for 12 months line rental and half price simply broadband which will work out at £28 over the year - absolute bargain!
Nothing has changed, and I hope I can keep it that way, but, not holding my breath.Wait till my e-mail comes with new terms, before I ring them.0
