Hello all, I hope you all haven't frozen to death  My word its cold out there today.

Have been quite productive today (I think) I have moved a CC that was on 6.9% life of balance to 0%

I telephoned my CC company and the lady said I can have a 0% deal for 12 months. I politely declined but thanked them for the recent increase that have just given me ;)

She then replied "Oh hang on there is another 0% deal thats just popped up" (how convenient)

Anyway she then said I can have 0% for 30 MONTHS :T

That pays off another CC saving me £40 per month in interest :D
Although I had to pay a fee for the pleasure, in the long run it works out better.

Will need to do a new snowball

I am actually scared of CCs now :rotfl:

Will update a little later when I have a new snowball and have done the ironing :(

Edit: Have roughly worked out that I will save approx £1,200 in interest
    SP 9#531=£620/SP 10 # 531=?PDBX 2016 #2 = £16,766.67/£12,000
    PDBX 2017 #2 = £1,200/£12,000

  • Having just checked CCs I now have:
    • CC1 £12,000 @ 6.9% LOB
    • CC2 £10,707 @ 0% July 18
    • CC3 £7,143 @ 0% March 18

CC1 is the one I aim to tackle now

OMG it makes me feel very :( looking at this

On the bright side I have 2 statements still to come this month yet. In the long run I will save money on interest. (just trying to make myself feel better)
    SP 9#531=£620/SP 10 # 531=?PDBX 2016 #2 = £16,766.67/£12,000

  • Good evening, hello :hello:

    Well done on getting a 0% deal for 30 months :T and saving £1200 interest :T:T That's :j
Just to point out that £1200 is 10% of CC1

Haven't frozen here but it's pretty cold, brrrrrrr.

  • Thats exactly how I'm feeling :rotfl:

My new target CC is a BIG one

£12470 :( Have just transferred £600 of it to 0% for 30 months. Its all I had left available to transfer.

This is the one I am waiting to pay (tonight) quite a bit over the minimum every month now (snowball recommended)

Will do a survey whilst I wait :)
