Ok
Does anyone know why the date of England's bag charging was put back at least twice?
Still many customers don't know about the charges. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

I was in a shop last week when the member of staff on the till was serving a member of staff from another food store he was telling him how he " couldn't wait" for the new ruling to come so he could !!!! off the customers, in effect, the gist of the conversation. How professional.
If get served by this type I might want to wind them up a little.0 -
How are you coping OP?
Thought this may help ...

Went shopping and opted to pay 5p in Boots today for a bag, but at least it was a half decent one thicker than the normal free ones with stronger handles, certainly one I can reuse!0

Went into Adsa today and spoke to 2 checkout people and they had only 1 complaint each, so far. So it does seem as the message is getting through.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

England are the only country who think it will cause the Apocalypse on Monday.
If I see 4 horsemen then I'll post on this thread
Looks like it was the big non-event that it was expected to be.
Life goes on, people will continue to think up highly improbable scenarios to attempt to justify why they should have a free bag and this thread will carry on well past its sell by dateThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. OP, looks like the Daily Mail is on your side:
The Daily Mail also reported:'If plastic bags are worth 5p each then I've got enough for 2 weeks in Dubai under my kitchen sink': British public take to Twitter to mock government price hike0
