That's quite true - for Corbyn, it was a pretty good performance. It may be worth noting that it was a result of a Conservative Surrey Local Authority polItalian making an alleged cack-ip rather than a blistering policy initiative from Labour.
Seems to me it was a bit like a football supporter slagging off a rival team at the top of the league for a bad result while his own team is languishing at the bottom of the league facing certain relegation.

Had to spin some news story in order to deflect the resignation of yet another shadow minister. The pool of available talent must be getting very shallow........
