It really isn't that ingrained into western society, if they really wanted to affect women's rights they'd be talking about Islam amongst other things.
It's just the liberals going off on one again the same way they did over BLM. It wouldn't surprise me to find people who straddle both social groups.0 -
Thousands of woman and other minorities thought it was warranted. It wasn't a socialist or liberal conspiracy. To think otherwise is to think like a sexist white male imo.
Yeah, it really was.
Not so much a conspiracy, I wouldn't give them the benefit of having the intelligence to be involved in such a scheme. But deluded group think, marching because of 'reasons!!'. The same idiots who were marching against the Brexit vote and couldn't tell anyone jot about the EU.
Bored and militant.
By the way, I love this part of your post:To think otherwise is to think like a sexist white male imo.
That right there is your typical lefty group think. You don't dislike sexists, you dislike white male sexists. If you're black you probably give them a pass because they're black. If they're female they can't possibly be sexist.
Now you'll retort and say of course not or something along those lines. But it speaks absolute volumes that you chose to put "sexist white male" the first time you thought about it.0 -
if this were so, then one might reasonable assume that the companies with less sex diverse boards are now bankrupt and those with more are now the overwhelming majority of successful expanding companies. So the issue will be resolved simply by market forces in just a few years.
Only if you view the world in some kind of weird binary way.0 -

no idea what a 'weird binary way' means.
I simply take the view that a company that provided better products and/or at lower prices and /or with better customer service would on balance, do better than companies that provide worse products as higher prices etc.0 -

Using IQ tests to prove a point.....so 1950's!..goes with the general world view though doesn't it mate!:rotfl:
So many throwbacks on this forum:rotfl:0 -
What a trumpite response....anyone who disagrees with me is an extremist militant.:rotfl: What actually speaks volumes is that you and your ilk are clearly threatened by strong women asserting themselves. I'm aghast that someone would seek to defend Trump but that's what anonymity does doesn't it...it allows the bigot to vent their putrid hate filled view of the world without the shame they would feel if they were 'known';)
Who said I disagree with women's rights?
Women's right has nothing to do with the violation of them by one person, no matter who that person is, true or not. That should be a matter for the judiciary, the real one that is, not the public or the press.
These protesters and "activists" are bored and militant. Look at the alleged "pay gap", at how it doesn't actually exist and that in part-time work women are paid more than men. If these people are so pious why are they not campaigning for equality of fathers in custody, or equality of pay on a part-time basis? You don't see any of these activists siding with MRA's do you? Because they're not good or decent people who genuinely want equality of opportunity. They're just bored and militant. They protest because they think it's cool, their friends do, because they're bored and they've got a chip on their shoulder about something, justified or not.
I don't hate blacks, women, !!!!!exuals, or any other minority. I would say I hate self-professed "liberal thinkers", which is so hilarious because they're neither liberal nor thinkers. They just identify an area of human endeavour, note that some do better than others, side with the people who do not do as well and blame the successful as the oppressors of the unsuccessful, feel good about doing so having done absolutely nothing to help the cause of the people they're siding with. Rinse and repeat. Politics of grievance and entitlement.

Unlike yourself who works tirelessly everyday for equality of opportunity.
On every discussion we have on these threads you side with the Westernpromise neo con loony right winger types. You can't just sum up millions of people in the way you have and be credible. People had different reasons for being on those marches, some were loony left, some were not!

Binary is a numbering system consisting of 1 & 0 also known as base 2. A binary way is a colloquial term which implies that only one of two outcomes is possible.
You've changed your view. Previously you said that companies would either be successful or go bust. Are there a few of you sharing a login or do you not really know what you mean or something else?0 -
Yeah right!
I'm sure women are comforted by your compassion and interest.
So........ you've now just completely contradicted what you said above about being for womens rights
The two go together Tricky;)

Have you taken political compass tests?
If you do, and do it honestly, I'll bet £5 to a charity of your/my choice that you end up in the left authoritarian section (receipts will be provided as proof), then have a guess at where you think I ended up and I'll treat you to an insight.
I'm none of what you think I am and I'll put my money where my mouth is. You're just so far down the garden path you can't see that you've lost your way.0 -
TrickyTree83 wrote: »Have you taken political compass tests?....
I wouldn't bother. Political compass is junk science.0
