With every single rightist mainstream news outlet pumping out anti Corbyn propaganda like there is no tomorrow, and 140 quisling Blairite's in Parliament standing against the people; Labour are still only polling a few points behind the Tories.

Time for the Blairites to give in. Their time is done. The people do not want them.

It would be fun to see if this is true, de-select 142 seats and let the people deiced in by-elections.

or by people do you mean the 250k people who voted for JC, and not the 8 odd million who voted for those MP's...

The Independent is the first, and only so far, MSM outlet to make the connection between the frantic attempt by the PLP of a coup, and the release of the Chilcot report.

    http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/jeremy-corbyn-labour-leadership-chilcot-report-latest-news-alex-salmond-a7116926.html

Its attributed to Salmond but the alternative media has been all over this for some time.

They are desperate to get JC out of the way and to save their idol, Blair, from the roasting he has coming.

His and Mandelslimes anti Corbyn statements have been gearing up to it.

Ironically, you pulled someone up on their grammar in an earlier post.

One thing I would like the Blarites to respond to is exactly what you think will happen when you oust Corbyn, which I accept will happen sooner or later.

Blair was hated, and replaced by Brown, who lost ignominiously.

The we had Ed. Good old Ed, he had the full support of the PLP, was on message with every single Blairite policy, and was up against an unpopular and divided coalition government that was composed of two unpopular and divided parties whose main policy was austerity.

He guaranteed an end to austerity. And he lost miserably.

What do you seriously think is going to happen when you fight the next election on exactly the same ticket on which you have lost the last two?

The fact is, it is your party that is dying.

Blair stole the Tories clothes and the Tories have stolen them right back again.

Labour is not the party of opposition, they have become the Conservative party that teachers married to higher rate taxpayers feel they can vote for.

That isn't an opposition, that is irrelevance.

There is a demand in the country for an actual left wing party that will oppose the Tories' business first neoliberalism.

If it isn't Labour it will be something else, but if you think you are making life hard for yourselves with Corbyn wait until you see your election results with a future Liz Kendall.

He only pretended to be blairite. Everyone knew he wasn't. That's why he lost.

Without the pact between Blair and Brown Nu Labour would never even have been electable. At least Blair attempted to reform the Labour party and move forward from it's neanderthal roots. Appealing to a broader section of the new more affluent middle class. Labour has managed to rewind the clock back over 20 years in the past few months. Quite an achievement.

Rugged = you never answered my question posted earlier.

    ...........

    ...........

Corbyn has a vision but preaching to the converted is not going to win over enough people to win power. Having 400000 people support you is not enough. Get 15,000,000 and then you can make a difference.

The problem with someone having a "vision" is that it is so hard to differentiate between a vision and a hallucination.

For all the success Corbyn is likely to have in a general election, it's a pity that Michael Foot was cremated; the Labour Party might as well have dug him up and made him leader.

    Harsh, but fair, IMO.

I've still to see any attempt by a Corbyn fan to explain how his policies are like to gain the support of enough English constituencies to win power. The SNP seem fairly secure having virtually wiped out Labour's Scottish fiefdoms and Labour seem to be having a real crisis of confidence in their north of England former powerbase.

Kezia Dugdale, leader of the Labour Party in Scotland, is among those who have called on Corbyn to go, so she clearly sees the Scottish and UK parties heading in different directions.

The Corbyn lot seem far more interested in securing total power in the Labour Party and suppressing any dissent within it than they are in winning real political power in elections.
