As I understanding momentum is an independent organisation and is not part of Labour Party.
Sort of:

It is pretty specific about its links to Labour while also stating that it isn't actually part of Labour.0 -
Whereas tories appoint liars to high office. Jeffrey Archer, Jonathan Aitken
to name the most famous examples. There is good and bad in all Parties. What is so sad is that you spend time looking up articles to smear JC. The Daily Torygraph as well! Hardly sympathetic to him are they. What has this guy done to you. I mean so many people I know like him. He used to come and support my union for years. He is genuine and cares about people. You are spending your time denigrating a man who you have never met and your knowledge of him is basically gained from trawling right wing press articles.:rotfl:
It doesn't matter how nice or genuine he is if he is the wrong person to lead the party. I am a floating voter and would not vote for a party led by him. Many wouldn't. Meanwhile the lib dems are also in disarray and the Tories are nursing a potentially damaging split over Europe. This could have been a prime time for Labour to garner support and build its base. Instead, if it carries on, it will be languishing in political backwaters.
There are many nice, genuine, principled people in the world. It would be great if more politicians were made from that mould. However it doesn't follow that every nice, genuine and principled person can lead a major political party. This man is not up to the task. The sooner people realise that, the sooner Labour can get back to being the force it should be.Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? I guess not : more like Jeremy's personal black shirts

ABOUT
Jeremy Corbyn for Labour Leader has transformed into Momentum - a network of people and organisations that will continue the energy and enthusiasm of Jeremy's campaign.
WHAT DOES MOMENTUM WANT TO DO?
Organise in every town, city and village to create a mass movement for real progressive change.
Make Labour a more democratic party, with the policies and collective will to implement them in government.
Bring together individuals and groups in our communities and workplaces to campaign and organise on the issues that matter to us.
I suppose, as I don't personally know Jeremy and haven't worked with him for years, then it is totally unreasonable to criticise the polices of the Leader of the Labour Party.0 -
I meant the 1983 General Election.:D
I only wish Corbyn was more like Foot, in terms of his brain at least. Whilst never having the gravitas or image to be Prime Minister, Foot had a truly first-class political brain. Corbyn, alas, is not in his league.'I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my father. Not screaming and terrified like his passengers.' (Bob Monkhouse).
Sky? Believe in better.
Note: win, draw or lose (not 'loose' - opposite of tight!)0 -
Good for you, you obviously had the skillset to do so.
Yes, I was born with it.
No, hang on, that doesn't sound right. It must have beamed itself into my head without any effort on my part.
Nope, still doesn't seem to match reality.
I worked hard to acquire skills both from others in and out of school, and from teaching myself in my leisure time.
TLDR version: You reap what you sow.I am not a financial adviser and neither do I play one on television. I might occasionally give bad advice but at least it's free.
Like all religions, the Faith of the Invisible Pink Unicorns is based upon both logic and faith. We have faith that they are pink; we logically know that they are invisible because we can't see them.0 -

The electorate decides the outcome. That's all that matters. After that the rifts in all the parties will be buried.0 -
