He certainly seems quite ill-informed.
For one thing, there is nothing that prevents a local council from getting into the energy supply business if it wants to. See for example, Robin Hood energy. And for another thing, if Corbyn is advocating that local councils have a monopoly over energy supply, he has the little matter of EU directives to deal with.0 -

From what I can see Mr Corbyn's main desire is to beat Lady Thatcher.
Las Malvinas, Polaris, nationalisation and the miners. It's 1983 all over again!0 -

There was a little snippet of him on the TV this morning in a cap looking like someone out of a Frankie Goes To Hollywood video (not that video, the other one)I think....0 -

Er, wrong year(s) for the first and last of those!'I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my father. Not screaming and terrified like his passengers.' (Bob Monkhouse).
Sky? Believe in better.
Note: win, draw or lose (not 'loose' - opposite of tight!)0 -

I meant the 1983 General Election.:D
The upcoming local and regional elections will be interesting. The way the polls are shaping up, Mr Corbyns Labour might even contrive to come third behind the Tories in Scotland! Beating the Tories in Scotland should be like shooting fish in a barrel.
Oh well, desperate times call for desperate measures. If you can't carry a majority of votes simply fraudulently register voters instead:

Momentum’s social media co-ordinator Marsha-Jane Thompson has election fraud conviction for registering more than 100 fake voters
Presumably that's a part of the right wing conspiracy to destabilise democracy or something.0 -

Was this Jeremy's fault as well?

Nothing better to do Generali?:rotfl:0 -
The difference of course was that Mr Rashid was found not guilty. And his membership was revoked while he was accused of this crime.

Labour on the other hand give fraudsters a position in a key part of the organisation.0 -

Whereas tories appoint liars to high office. Jeffrey Archer, Jonathan Aitken
to name the most famous examples. There is good and bad in all Parties. What is so sad is that you spend time looking up articles to smear JC. The Daily Torygraph as well! Hardly sympathetic to him are they. What has this guy done to you. I mean so many people I know like him. He used to come and support my union for years. He is genuine and cares about people. You are spending your time denigrating a man who you have never met and your knowledge of him is basically gained from trawling right wing press articles.:rotfl:0 -

Remind me what happened to Messers Archer and Aitken once convicted.
I don't recall either of them being given important roles after being found guilty.
Mr Corbyn hasn't done anything to me personally, I just have a strong dislike and mistrust of the hard left. The funny thing is, most of the things you condemn as smears are Mr Corbyn's own policies and actions.0 -
As I understanding momentum is an independent organisation and is not part of Labour Party.0
