They might be to the left but not so far as oppose trident.

    Really?

UNISON, PCS, CWU, RMT, FBU, TSSA, ASLEF, NUM, NUT, and UNITY are all nationally affiliated to CND. Unite North West Region, Unite London and Eastern Region and Unite North East, Yorkshire and Humberside have also affiliated.

now stop trying to spoil things by making out that TUs are primarily political organisations that support the loony left (well previously the hard right Stalinists but that has been written out of their history).

No idea. Did all of them, including the ones antrobus listed? How does the vote work, is it OMOV or do they still use the old block vote?

How I understand it is there was a motion to debate trident at conference and motion was defeated and according guardian article 0.16% of union votes supported the motion.
  • The reason why Rupert Murdoch fears Jeremy Corbyn is because he is likely to take away money printing rights from private banks. If this happens the bonus culture from the banking industry will disappear over night.

Just like every other major currency in the world our mainstream banks have devalued our currency against the us dollar but the increase in the money supply hasn't gone to the people but instead has filled the banks & their disciples pockets.

The only money that is being offered to the public is a 20% equity grant from the UK Government for 1st time buyers but this is nothing more than fuel for the UK housing bubble. It doesn't really help working class people, it just makes property more and more expensive and soon the program will cause diminishing returns.

If Jeremy Corbyn makes it to the next election there will be a strong chance of him winning so that is why the Conservatives and their allies are doing everything in their power to stop him lasting that long.

Its only been 6 months and the Tories say Corbyn is a threat to the country and destroying the Labour party.

Whilst Murcdoch may having printing interests, why would he care whether private banks can print money or not?

What are Corbyns plans for the banks?

I'd be quite interested to understand what 0.16% means (not a criticism of you, just a statement).

Why would Rupe give a flying fox about bankers' bonuses?

As to Corbyn winning the next election, a third at least of Labour supporters don't think that Mr Corbyn is the best leader of the economy. As President Clinton once said, "It's the economy, stupid".
