Some guy called Michael Dugher (Shadow Minister of Fun) seems to have been the first casualty. I'd never heard of him but he certainly seems to have shot himself at the foot at every opportunity by criticising Corbyn's Sturmabteilung.

"Personally, I can’t see the point of Momentum... … It occurred to me that their aggression is matched only by their stupidity." Ouch. You can almost hear the sharp intake of breath as a man signs his own death warrant.

Hell of a coincidence that despite some absolute plums (Messers Corbyn, Foot and Milliband spring to mind) not a single woman has ever been the best person for the job.
The tories record is far poorer if you look at the number of MP's as a whole. Bernard Jenkins calls it right:-

Not really. Good people have always been expensive. The CEO of the company I work for deserves every penny he gets, and if people don't like it, well sell your shares and/or get a job elsewhere.

Also bear in mind that the money being paid to execs will be attracting tax/NI of 50%+ versus the far lower amount of corporation tax if left in the company.

So, the defense against the actual Labour sexist behaviour under the IRA loving Corbyn is a 2013 quote from a Tory about general culture.
Presumably because there are no labour people willing to defend the indefensible.

The reason I love Corbyn is because he doesnt come from the same factory where they manufacture all the other politicians and white collar managers. He has genuinely thought through views and seems to be sincere. Yes he is a bit left wing but I think come 2020 we would need a few years of left govt to undo the damage of 10 years of Tory rule. Labour party needs a cleanup desperately which is full of Blairite right wingers posing as lefties.

I love the fact that Moby thanked this post - just shows you how confused he (and the rest of his party are).

Maybe, but I can't say that I actually dislike him. OK, I find his politics morally repugnant, and he'd be a bigger disaster as PM than he is as leader of the Labour party, but compared to the likes of Blair, he seems a pleasant enough person.

That just makes me so angry.

People are happy for footballers to earn stupid amounts of money but not the people who provide jobs.

Just makes me hate The Labour Party more.

    You should read this Moby

Union leaders have enjoyed pay rises of up to 60% and £90,000 "golden-goodbyes" while their members are struggling to cope with rising living costs and pay freezes, according to official accounts.
