Any predictions for the forthcoming shadow cabinet purge?

I read that Corbyn wants to address everyone's concern about the lack of women in the shadow cabinet (and the few that are there are almost all in matronly jobs like education, health and aid for Africa) so he's going to appoint some more.

I predict high-profile appointments to the Shadow Minister of Embroidery, the Shadow Minister of Giving Medals For Childbirth, and the Shadow Minister Of Dressing Like A Schoolgirl For Simon Danczuk.

I see that Harperson is having another whinge about the number (or lack of) women in the Labour leadership.

Her sexist bleating is getting somewhat tiresome now. When is she going to realise that the right person for any job should be the best person for that job, irrespective of gender?

I did hear a joke today that they are considering calling one of the new elements Corbynium due to it's extraordinarily short half-life. And another one Abbotium because nobody could think of any useful purpose for it whatsoever.

Well, it's been well over a decade since they've selected a leader who's the best person for the job, so that does invalidate your argument slightly.

Hell of a coincidence that despite some absolute plums (Messers Corbyn, Foot and Milliband spring to mind) not a single woman has ever been the best person for the job.

Even then no woman has ever been voted in as party leader, just allowed tye reins for a few months.
