Mumto5 - sorry to hear that you didn't get it, but like everyone has said, positive feedback! It's worse when you just get a generic email/letter/NOTHING and you don't even know why you didn't get it. Onwards and upwards :j
Valli - great idea about keeping old yog pots for seedlings, think I might do that (although just need to solve the no space for growing/no greenhouse problem!) Has anyone got any experience with those freestanding plastic mini-greenhouse thingies? I'm worried if I get one it won't be stable enough and it'll topple over!
Piggers - that's hilarious!!!!!! I wonder if he knows he's been put up for sale  oh dear, no bids
Dizzy Imp - hope today is a better day

Didn't make the morning so I'll say afternoon all and hope everyone is well
Spent the morning finishing the garden, while out there I signed a petition for someone and got a couple of neighbours to do the same. Chatted to a nice neighbour who got a new foster child last night so I've told her I'll look through the stuff I have ready for the Cs as he's just slightly smaller than ds2 and has come with nothing but the clothes he's standing up in. He seems a really nice lad, I called hello and waved while I was gardening and got a lovely smile and wave back.SPC~12 ot 124

Pigpen hm not my type - I wonder how the posting works; where do they stick the stamp.........................
A little miffed that the person who was interested in my freezer for sale rang just as I was leaving for zumba saying he was leaving work and could call on his way through........could have grudgingly given up zumba, but I had treatment booked at the gym. Hopefully he will ring back later and look in on his way to work this eve.
Did zumba
Had eyebrows decluttered and lashes/brows tinted; special 'holiday eye treatment offer' so that is good timing. Decluttered a C0st& on the way home, and some of the greengage polenta pudding, which is just as nice cold, like a gooey cake because of the greengages but with a 'crunch' because of the polenta.
Booked in some survey stuff.
Priority now is writing up yesterday's assessment, as I have another on Thurs.
Then will look at kitchen; dining room will be ok once I clear all the assessment paperwork out of the way!
Need to gather windfall greengages before the wasps get them.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
Back again. I have emptied vacuum and cleaned filter - now drying on the line and fed and sorted all the rabbits. DW emptied and washing pegged out. Then I went on an errand.

Coffee drunk, stuff taken over to neighbour.
Going to pick some more blackberries now and finish kitchen and bathroom off.SPC~12 ot 124

Hi, I've been very busy. The blackberries were soggy so I left them. It's raining again now so I will have to wait for the next batch to ripen.
I just had a phone call from the lady who interviewed me yesterday offering me a job in Mald0n. I was very flattered but it's a 40 mile round trip and would take 40 minutes each way. I told her that I'd applied for another in Chelmsf0rd and she was very pleased to hear it. Fingers crossed I get a quick interview.
I've washed all the kitchen cupboards and paintwork in the Kitchen/dining room. I've had a good sort out of clothes and have piles for the CS and the forthcoming nearly new sale. 6th load of washing is going round and the TD is now on due to the maiden being full and the rain outside. Lunch made and cleared up. DS1 has just started to cook so I hope he leaves the kitchen as he finds it. I have to collect DS2 from work at 2.15. I'm feeling a bit tired after my early start.0 -
Piggers No, ta - I'm fed up, not hard up! :rotfl:
After zipping round vacuuming and dusting yesterday, I'm not doing too brilliantly today; no energy, and very achy. Hopefully this will pass by tomorrow, as Mr LW has invited his pal over for the evening. I could do without visitors, but on the other hand, it's getting me out of having to attend the CAMRA branch meeting.;)
I'll try for a little gentle flapping, if not full-on Flying in a bit.If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Weather still holding here, so blackberries are in and washing will be dry enough to fetch in once I've finished my cuppa.
Sent Dh back to work with dentist phone number do hopefully he'll get time to ring them and sort his next appt out.
been doing some fact finding on Internet regarding issue that is affecting some neighbours once I have as many facts as possibly my hat may also be thrown into the ring.
Good luck with next interview mumto5SPC~12 ot 124

Afternoon all. Sorry not to have updated last night. I was shattered when I got back from the hospital.
The consultation was good. Doctor confirmed that I will be getting a scan appointment through the post for sometime in the next fortnight. The big decision 're surgery will come after that.
They have decided to reduce the dose of chemo for next time in the hope my energy levels pick up.
Friend from work took me out for coffee and cake this morning. We had a good natter and I really enjoyed it.
Sorry to hear you didn't get the job mumto5. But the feedback sounded very positive. Hopefully something will turn up soon.:jFlylady and proud of it:j0
