Didn't get it. Candidate after me had more face to face experience. Very good feedback, I was told my application and interview were excellent and they had more positions coming up and would contact me direct. Bit gutted, Ireally wanted it but the phone call with the news was a good one. I feel positive!

DS2 enrolled at college for year 2. No hiccups.

DH has sent smiley texts. Hes not come home early so thats a plus point!

Bathrooms done. Nervous energy is good for cleaning.

Bathroom finished. De-cluttered a shower at the same time :rotfl: as it's the easiest way to clean with a toothbrush around the runners - Yuck. Don't think I've done that for a long time:eek:

Also been to the gym and improved on my last treadmill run. Walked the dog twice. Bread made and kitchen cleared. Mount laundry ongoing - we seem to have gone through a lot of clothes considering we were only away for a week.

    CY Hope today was good.

LW glad you are enjoying your furry visitor.

    (((hugs))) and spoons/sticks as required.

I am back for this week please.
Funnily enough I cleaned a bathroom today before checking on here. The main family bathroom is out of use as we have the toilet cistern in bits. I tried to repair it but had no success. Now we have to wait for a plumber to decide they can get here.

I also downsized on freezers and gave away our mid sized chest freezer today. Only problem was that DS2 had to take the porch door off to get the freezer out. It is now leaning at a precarious angle while we wait for Mr P to come home.

The worst job I have done for ages was removing all the dead mice from behind the freezer, it was in the shed, and the cats sleep in there.

    Just having a quick cuppa.

Disappointing but good feedback anyway so fingers crossed something else comes up soon. They must have been impressed they will call you direct.

Well done Mr Frizzle, I think it was him!

Did Body Pump and Insanity this morning, then a full assessment so my brain is pretty tired.
House isn't too bad anywhere really, having moved/vacuumed everything for window fitting. I need to focus on scoring up the assessment this eve as I have another on Thursday.
Had the most torrential rain this morning, I drove home from the gym at a max of 25mph and there were lots of flooded bits. So I won't be gardening this eve as it is all very soggy.

Well I stuck with it and my bathroom is spotless. I'm feeling rather pleased with myself. I'm hoping it'll get easier as the weeks go by, I've only just sat down :-/. At least this should free up my weekends.

I've also done 2 loads of washing. I only need to hang my shower curtain back up, it's currently in the washing machine, wash up and clear off my dining table.

    Evening all.

Hope you're doing OK this evening, CY.
    Welcome to Newbies and returners.
Commiserations to Mumto5; hope there's something good waiting for you just round the corner. Glad your DH is back at work and your DS2 is doing well at college.
Well done FBO - three months and counting on ;)
    Congratulations to Mr Frizzle

    Positives today:
    - It hasn't poured with rain here today
    - 2 resource boxes finished (only 9 more to go :( )
    - birthday gift ordered for DD
    - baptism gift ordered for DGS4
    - tickets bought for Riding Lights production next month
    - DW emptied
    - I cooked lunch and tea for us
    - a friend came round with her 2 boys aged 5 and 7, to drive trains on DH's railway, so I stopped work for an hour to chat
    - I have backed up all the work I did on the computer today.

    Negatives today:
    - I haven't done any other flying - not even WMx1.
    - My computer is making horrid noises - obviously got dust in its innards from all the shredding - could be expensive :( - hence the last item in the paragraph above
    - I am feeling out of sorts and rather frazzled :(
    - I have got to be at the horse piddle for an 08.45 eye appointment tomorrow

Going to try to read another chapter of my book before falling into bed...

Back from watching a free film, it was ok.
Did kitchen and a bit of the bathroom before we went out, so really just need to do the floor and window tomorrow.

Sorry you didn't get the job mumto5
Hope you are feeling more like yourself and less frazzled tomorrow Iona also hope the puter feels better and behaves tomorrow. One of ours made a bad whinny noise because it had started overheating. I took the side off and sucks the dust out but the fan needed replacing, Dh did it and he's not that puter techy from memory it only cost about £30 for a new fan but that was a while ago.

Going for a cuppa and going to read so e of a new book
