5 UKPC parking tickets on my motorbike outside my house up on the curb

You can now only register your POPLA code as POPLA have ceased taking statements until the Ombudsmen takes over, so don't stress too much on the appeal points just yet, but get it registered.0

OK great, I started going through it but didn't want to go as far as entering the POPLA code without having my appeal ready in case I did have to enter it now. Gives me a bit more time anyway.
edit: looks like I will have to come up with my argument today so. thanks.0 -

And a load of crap it is too.
I understand that POPLA can reject my appeal if it considers the reasons for appeal frivilous or vexatious
Seriously? "Frivilous"?
And not only does it try to railroad appellants with the same "grounds for appeal" crap as the old PoPLA did, it also tries to put people off using appeal templates from here or elsewhere:
"Use your own words not someone else's
The POPLA website has been designed so that you can provide most of the information we need in just a few clicks and without too much typing. Whilst we do provide text boxes for you to supply additional information please try to avoid simply copying and pasting text from other websites or templates."

Sounds like they are going down the IPC route, I woonder if they guarantee 80% failure?I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

I've just noticed. I originally got 4 tickets (when I returned from holidays) and then I got the two others at a later date. Of the original 4, one of them has been cancelled "parking charge has been cancelled in full".
Do I have grounds to stand on to say that if one was cancelled, they all should be as they are for the same issue?0 -
This is something we're urging for another mser.
But what part does logic and reason play in any of this mpuppet theatre?CAP[UK]for FREE EXPERT DEBT &BUDGET HELP:

Dear Sir/Madam
Ref: POPLA code ??? / PCN number ???.
This is an appeal regarding the parking ticket which was left on my motorcycle (reg no. ???) on 28-07-15 by UK Parking Control Ltd. (UKPC). The motorcycle was left at the front door of my house for 7 days while I was on holidays. When I returned, there were 4 tickets stuck to the rear of the motorcycle. This appeal is for the ticket with POPLA code ??? only.
The gated carpark is shared amongst many houses in the area. Each household has one parking space allocated to it with no motorcycle parking available.
This ticket is being appealed on the following grounds;
1) The motorcycle was not in the car park which is outlined using a kerb. Instead, it was by the front door of my house, therefore there is no jurisdiction for the charges. The motorcycle wasn't in the car park managed by UKPC, so UKPC have no authority to issue invoices. The motorcycle is not hindering any access to the shared building entrance and the neighbours have no issue with the motorcycle being parked there.
2) UKPC doesn't have proprietary interest in the car park, not sufficient for landowner authorization to enforce parking. They are exceeding their authority. I was constrained to purchase the motorcycle via mismanagement/ill-thought design, in that my choice of transport is being determined by parking space issues, despite vacant living spaces around me. Each household is only issued one visitors pass but they are overly constrictive in that there is a “4 hour maximum stay in visitors bay with no return within 24 hours.”
3) The sum requested is neither a core term nor a genuine pre-estimate of loss, therefore is a disguised penalty and not applicable.
4) The signage is insufficiently clear to form a contract in the first place.
5) Since there's no way to securely attach a permit to a motorcycle, any contract is materially frustrated.
6) There is no registered keeper liability, since POFA2012 was not adhered to.
Of the four tickets issued, one was cancelled; “Parking charge has been cancelled in full”. Therefore this ticket should be cancelled as per the other cancelled ticket as it was issued for the same cause.
I would also like to highlight the absurdity of the situation and ask if I would be given an invoice for putting a plant pot at my front door.
The above parking ticket should be cancelled due to the points above. I have copies of the parking tickets and UKPC rejection letters and will be seeking my legal remedies if my demand is not met.
I look forward to your reply.
Yours Sincerely,
Kevin0 -
Would anyone mind reading over the above appeal before I send it off..? Thanks a mill.0
