is it definatly a UKPC wardon that is ticketing you , or is it Norris cole , next door hoping for his £10 cheque?

this lot have proved , by issuing only one POPLa code that they are cheating , a request to the DVLA , asking how many times haver muppet and sons asked for your info , go from day before first ticket, to a fixed date , bet they are re using your info!!

next , get down to halfrauds (other rip off shops are available) , BIKE COVER ,cover bike and number plate , done, dusted , let anyone touch it and it could be criminal damage

    dvla , try

Just my own take on this. The ppc is there to monitor and scam the motorists in the car park ie the concrete/tarmac slab. As the op was parked well away from the road/slab, by a bush, the ppc has not authority over this. They could ticket a wheelbarrow if they had.
    Please correct me if wrong.

  • well , I did think of that , and by applying a bike cover , we are creating another "wheelbarrow" , IE a block with no visible reg number

this is common practice in cities with council tickets and motorcycles , they have no authority to start removing covers

I was more thinking along the lines of --where they were parked was not a car park so ppc has no authority.

Hmkomaas; all of the tickets are still within date for appealing so I shall appeal again with the template to get more POPLA numbers. I think I should contact DVLA first with that contact number though to see what they're at. Thanks Freddy!

I've never actually seen the parking instructor but I was up and there was so ticket on the bike at 10. Then by 11 it was on it! Would love to bump into the person when they put the ticket on. I know it's always the same person because there is a ticket inspector number on the tickets.
  • yup , agreed , but lets stop any more tickets now , sort out POPLA (multiple) and the DVLA access , then hit them with wrong land

Peter and Freddy, Geniuses!! I have a bike cover that I don't use so I will start using it for sure.

I thought about the fact that it's not technically in the car park but the sign up does say the grounds are covered by the UKPC crowd so not sure if I have any grounds to stand on with that point

Yes - two things to do.

    1. Get those separate appeals in, use the method required by UKPC (whether that's via their website, email or post). Send each separately and make sure you put the specific PCN reference number on the individual appeal. Use the initial appeal template - no additions, subtractions or amendments - for each.

    2. Follow Freddy's advice to check with the DVLA that they have requested your details on 5 separate occasions; if they haven't, problems for them and potentially an easy get out for you.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

  • do NOT forget to write that Email to the DVLA , they are in serious trouble if they are writing to you , having only asked for your info once , it must be sought from the DVLA each time they issue a ticket.

Just to add to the completely ridiculous rules that UKPC try to enforce; there are a few shared visitor spots around the carpark and we have 1 visitors pass but the signs state that visitors are only allowed to park at certain times and not for more than 4 hours and no more than once a day. So we can't have visitors overnight and if visitors need to leave for something, they are technically not allowed back in. Ludicrous.
