Just to let everyone know Sky are offering the ultimate package which is box sets and Netflix for £3 per month however to find it check the my sky app.:)

It's the Netflix standard version where you can watch it on two devices unless you fit the criteria for uhd .... which is either movies/sport plus multi room on your account with Sky Q.

It's also on the online account, I've just moved the sons Netflix account that we were using over to it. It's really quick and easy and no 'admin fee' :D
  • But you can't do this when in contract though can you ?

I don't think you can. I thought I was still in contract until September as that's when my bill was going to rise but when the person on chat said "You are out of term" I kept quiet and let them carry on with it. :D

I'm in the latter part of a Sky Q contract (with sky 20 years), & Virgin BB. I'm moving home in the next month & Virgin not available at new house so looking for alternate BB provider & considering Sky to keep it all in one place.

Do I have any bargaining power being a TV customer (and wanting to bring Q with me) or is their BB so separate that my TV custom doesn't even feature in any negotions so as a new customer all I get is boilerplate BB pricing?

We have been with sky for 5 years now since we moved to our lovely but rural village and very limited suppliers for tv, broadband etc.

I got an email from them the other day saying my offers are due to expire and they’ve kindly added new offers to my account. But these offers mean I’ll be paying an extra £2ish on top of the £62 I pay already.

I have the entertainment package with kids added on top, fibremax, line rental etc and pay £8 a month for anytime calls. I do this because I cannot get a mobile signal when at home and if I need to call the school, doctors or work etc it is impossible. I did try removing this a while back but the individual calls I made in that time funnily enough came to more than the additional top up charge each month.

I really have no idea how to cut this down, any guidance would be much appreciated. Virgin don’t supply any service out here and neither do talk talk. Other broadband suppliers seem to be offering a slower speed than what we are paying for now for the same price :( I’ve contacted sky via their live chat and they offered £4 a month less but wanted an admin fee to change it over
  • The MySky app has finally updated itself and as you can see (I hope the pics have loaded ok) I've got Sky Entertainment, Boxsets, and HD for £17 and Sky Broadband Superfast for £11 making it £28 a month!

I'm really pleased with this! :D:D:D:D:D

Also, I now have Sky Go Extra free as well. :rotfl:

You have to have Sky Q for this deal though I think.

I have been with Sky on & off for about 8 years now. Currently since my 18 month contract is coming to an end I tried to negotiate and the deal i got was not great. I have only TV with them.

They were willing to give me Entertainment at 20, sports at 20, HD, BOX Sets at 1 each. for £42 for 18 months so I declined the offer.. I then received an email from Sky which said

Box sets and Sky sports together at £32 and £1 for Box Sets, HD, Kids and £5 for Sky movies all for 12 months rather than 18 which is fine..

but there is a £10 fee to be added if I do this over phone or chat.. Im guessing this is the cheapest they can go?

Any suggestions welcome. I have until tomorrow to accept this offer as per the email.
