Dave_Gosport wrote: »So I've just come off live chat to Sky and I was told that my monthly bills would be £44 a month.
What they offered me was:
Sky Entertainment - £15
Boxsets - £1
HD - £1
Broadband Superfast - £27
But whats showing on the MySky app is completely different:
Sky Entertainment - £22
Boxsets - £1
HD - £1
Broadband Superfast - £11
I don't know what the hell I've done, but it looks like I'm not paying the £18.99 Line rental which I didn't notice until I had a closer look, So that makes that £35 a month!
I did go straight back onto live chat when I noticed that Sky Entertainment was showing as £22 & I said that I agreed to £15. They did say be rest assured when I queried it.
So if my maths is correct I could be getting the above for £28 a month and I've only lost the Kids pack!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I'm going to sit back and let the bills adjust itself on the app first so fingers crossed I've got myself a great deal which I'm happy with.:D:D:D:D:D
Oh, and I did have to pay a £10 admin fee.
The MySky app has finally updated itself and as you can see (I hope the pics have loaded ok) I've got Sky Entertainment, Boxsets, and HD for £17 and Sky Broadband Superfast for £11 making it £28 a month!
I'm really pleased with this!:D:D:D:D

Still got a while left on my contract, however I phoned Sky and they said call up just before it expires and they will consider an offer/discount for another 18 months0

Or just do what I did. Cancel everything then go back onto live chat the next day and say you've changed your mind.0 -

I wouldn't put too much faith in just the future bills page yet, wait until after the next payment. Is there anything under the drop down for the Line Rental part because £11 for Sky fibre is possibly unprecedented?0 -

I'll certainly be keeping my eye on this, Don't worry!
Where it says Sky Talk Line Rental it's showing as £0.00 for 25 Aug - 24 Sep (31 days)
I don't know if this is a c0ck-up on their end because I did ask if there was anything they could do with the line rental as I never use my landline, So I think it's a bit weird, A coincidence in fact that I'm now not paying for it. Although I am getting a £21 discount on the superfast broadband.0 -

That looks like a good deal to me.
Is that all the sports channels then ?
I currently pay £15 for TV which breaks down to Entertainment package £13 + box sets £1+ HD £1
Netflix is another £8
I have the standard Sky HD box and I think you need a Sky Q box to get Netflix deals0 -
