Thank you for all your replies.
We didnt talk yesterday, but spoke some more today.
Her friend has been single since December and has met someone and they are both head over heels with each other. She said that made her feel a bit negative as thats something she will never have. She said shes tried so many times, but for some reason the thing that stops anything from going forward is her. Shes afraid of rejection and hurt.
She then went on to say how she likes me and how understanding ive been. The shock came when she said "I really like you, but im still sleeping with someone else. I know that person isnt interested in me at all, but i find it easier to deal with. "
She went on to say that it dosent may her happy, its just what she knows and she would love to settle down and have a family etc.
The chat went on and on and she said she would like to give things a go between us.0 -

A woman's perspective - she's playing a game. Maybe not consciously but it doesn't bode well. Sorry. Personally I don't like this sort of thing, all the men I know (family, colleagues & friends) like things to be straightforward. Some women complicate relationships unnecessarily (not me, too much like hard work and there would always be a doubt..)0

Was tied up at work and 20 minutes later got "I assume the lack of reply is not a good thing" With a confused smiley.
With the caveat that I have low tolerance for silliness and have been single for years, this is the point I would have given up on the idea!
20 minutes, really? :eek:0 -
Well it just sounds like too much work, too many mind games and a woman who seems a bit mixed up. I'd advise the OP to cease contact and move on.summerspring wrote: »I'm surprised you haven't been subjected to a lynch mob on here, making comments like that
Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0 -
Another of my comments from a woman's viewpoint :- rrrrruuuuunnnnn !0
