Thank you again for all your replies.

We have chatted further. She said she would like to go on a second date. She said shes never felt a spark on any dates shes ever been on and when I asked what she defined as a spark she said she didn't know. She said it was a fantastic first date and was definitely nothing ive done wrong. She said shes backed off because she was under the impression I liked her and didn't want to hurt me.
  • Please let us know how it goes Bobby :)

I met my now husband online, first date sounded a lot like this one you had. We had a great time but also both had other people to meet so didn't go for a second date til just over 3 months later.

Just under 9 months later we got married :)

(2nd time for me, we were both 40 when we met... that was 3 years ago)
  • So she kissed you several times as you say and held your hand and then later said she felt no spark? That's odd.

Either way, I hope it works out.

See if you can get a second date, bed her and move on..?
Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..

The mind boggles at what she would have done if there had been a spark. :D

Interesting, this lady is a manipulator, she has already got you on the back foot waiting to be rejected and has made you feel as if you are in the wrong.

She is trying for the upper hand " you like me more than I like you" situation.

I would be wary, don't give away too much of yourself. enjoy your time with her but stand back and let her do some of the running.

I will be I terested to find out the outcome.

OP, the best way to get someones attention is to remove yours.

Cut down on all the texting, it's not masculine. Ask her our out, if she says no, forget her.

There are so many women out there, it's not worth wasting your time on someone who isn't wanting to spend time with you.

Sounds harsh, but she just isn't interested

Maybe she was nervous and didn't want to appear to forward and waiting for you to say you left a spark?

Who knows, if you like her there is no harm is a second date.
