Glad to hear you are enjoying it so far. It sounds exciting changing paths, especially as you can see clear progression ahead. I love having something to aim for, keeps the motivation up.
The month will be up before you know it, time fly's past when you are training.
Hope your DBS check comes through quickly - I had mine done for the school, certificate took a couple of weeks to come through but the school knew within days I was all clear, so hopefully you will start as soon as training is complete.
Is there some form of 'buddy' system for your first week or two on the job?

Hi Bellieve. Yes we will buddy up but I'm not sure how long for. I think until we are confident to be on our own. Just found out we get paid weekly too so that's a bonus. Seems to be a really good company to work for.
No other news apart from put petrol in car today and another £1 on a brew. OH bought what we needed from shop so grocery budget still in my purse.
Hope everyone has had a good day. Nearly the weekend.

Hey Tinks,
Training sounds amazing. I think that in all of this debt busting you can get very lonely and / or low, so anything that brings fulfilment is a great bonus.
It happened to me too! Ride that high and remind yourself of it often. We all have the kind of mind we cultivate.

Hi guys. Thanks for the posts. Spent £55.00 out of grocery budget on Saturday but spent the day in today and not spent a penny. Have realised that a lot of our grocery budget goes on snacks for lunch boxes so I have bought flour etc and am going to spend tomorrow baking flap jacks, scones and fairy cakes. Can't believe I have to wait now for the check to come back before I start work. I have chased it and it is in the last stage so hopefully won't be too long.
Need to get caught up on everyone's diaries, not had much chance over the weekend. I hope everyone has had a good weekend and you are all relaxed.
Take care.

Great news about starting the training for your new job! Well done! Hopefully you'll be able to get in there properly soon.
Try not to be too hard on yourself at not paying more off your debts. We can all see you're doing your best and that's all anyone can expect or ask of you. Your best is always more than good enough too!
I love the sound of homemade treats. Sadly I didn't see this until too late, otherwise, I'd have wandered around trying to follow that beautiful baking smell!
I hope you're having a good week so far. MTxx0
