  • Hi ladies.

So sorry for the absence. It's been a busy few weeks that's for sure. We have a lovely (nearly) first floor flat and we have all settled in great.

The living room and DD's room are complete and my bedroom will be finished this week. At the moment I'm camped out in the living room on an air bed but I don't mind one bit.

The kitchen and bathroom are stripped and ready to paint and then there is just the hall.

I'm loving it. I have a lovely newish corner couch which I got from fb, I bought a new cooker, got given a large fridge freezer and bought a second hand washer so we are nearly there. We only need beds now.

We got a good amount from the council to redecorate so I've not had to spend any money on that luckily. And the fire that I had to wait for was worth waiting for.

It's lovely and warm and has a bath and a shower.

I did well the first couple of weeks getting things done as I had some time off work but it's slowed a bit now and I'm just doing things in between work. I'm exhausted.

Mr D seems happy which is good too. He rarely wakes me up on the night now so at least in getting full nights sleeps again.

I've paid a bit off my debts and I'm now ready to try and do harder with that.

Thanks for all the good wishes and hope all you lovely mummy's had a nice day today. Unfortunately I had to work but I got a lovely present card and flowers.

Need to catch up on all your diaries now. Sorry for the long post.
