Wow already number 4, you must have been awarded some serious points - and if that's the case if you don't get this one, the place for you wont be too far away. I'm a believer in fate - the best place for you will come up. A ground floor flat with a little garden would be nice for you all if a house doesn't come up.
Glad that you are enjoying Mr A - one of my favourite shops, you will probably be able to pick yourself up a few bits from there as and when they do the home specials.
Have you thought about colour schemes? I love getting excited with things like that - DD & I have plans for our forever house despite being no where near ready to move!
When you get a place, most councils / Housing associations will take you through an assessment to see what you are starting off with. If its clear you will struggle with things like white goods or furniture, often there are links to charities that they can refer you to that may provide second hand things for a small donation, or in some cases for free. Worth asking about if it isn't mentioned, every little helpsMFW

Hi Bellevie. I've just finished catching up on your diary. Amazing is all I can say.
I'm loving Mr A's. We get some great bits in for the home and I keep looking and thinking I should get this, that and the other but I am being very restrained and will only buy what I really need to move in for now.
My mind is in overtime for colour schemes and DD has hers planned already. I have a lovely pale pink and pale blue patchwork sort of duvet cover I bought from the other Mr A's a while ago so I am thinking of going girly and design my bedroom round that as I love it. And I would really like white old style furniture when I can afford it. Dreaming!!!!
We do have a warehouse come shop near to me where you can get things cheaper if you claim some benefits so I will definitely be looking there for my white goods. Only other bigish spend will be a couch and a bed for DD.
I just had to go away to see what housing had become available and I can't get on the site. Fuming  It keeps timing out. I've waited this long tonight so will give it a while longer. I still have a couple of diaries to catch up on while I'm waiting.
Will hopefully post again shortly with a property update.

Hi Tinks, fingers crossed that you get the flat and don't need to worry that there isn't anything on the bid site at the moment
Girly bedroom with antiquey looking white furniture sounds lovely - I'm sure thinking about things like colour schemes etc will be massively exciting, and another thing to look forward to for you and DD

Hi Kirsty. I went to bed so deflated last night then realised I'm still waiting on news from the flat. Can't believe I forgot about that. I was so wrapped up in the new properties being listed.
Went onto a site last night to see what help I would get with money as I'm only part time. That has been playing on my mind a lot. Anyway with my wages before contributions and the amount the rent is I would get some Universal Credit. That put my mind at rest as my tax credits have stopped at the moment.
Hope everyone is well.

Glad you're feeling a bit better about it all today Tink. Good news about Universal Credit, especially until you get your tax credits sorted.

I used to walk home past Mr A's and got some amazing deals on home stuff. I still have some of it now - it always amuses me when people ask where I got things and they don't believe it was supermarket not designer

Hello Tink,
Any news on your flat? I'm really hoping you're frantically busy packing up to go which is why you've not updated.
If not, then it just wasn't the right place for you. Life does have a funny way of working itself out.
Are you getting excited about Christmas? Just a few days to go!!!

Hi MT. We've had an awful lot of bad news this week and as they say things come in threes, it certainly did. Also had so many hours at work and it's been so busy I've not had time to think. I'll PM you so you hopefully understand the next part.
I can't believe I'm saying this but what with the above and Christmas and all it has brought us closer together as a family. All of us. So this is our last chance. I can't go back to how it was as I can't live like that and oh knows it. Once this was decided I got a call from the council a couple of days later to offer me the flat. I did turn it down as I really would like a house but I now know and so does oh that I'm top of the list for priority.
So I hope you will still all be here for me regarding this decision. I do intent to get my debts sorted and also get an emergency fund set in place so I'm not panicking as much as I did about how I'm going to furnish somewhere.
Hope everyone is ok.

Hello Tink,
Of course we're still here. It's your life and you are the person living it and dealing with everything that happens in it. From my perspective, I'm here to just support and cheerlead, not to judge or tell you what you should do. So please don't ever worry about that.
Just keep on doing what you do, and updating us all and we can all be here for each other.
I really hope life starts getting brighter for you all very soon.
